About

Vagante is an adventure set in a dark fantasy world filled with monsters, demons, and crooks. Despite these dangers, adventurers commonly travel these unforgiving lands questing for fame, riches, and power.

Early Access Review No Question, the Game seems appealing and can impress with its lovingly designed 8bit Graphics and its extremely coherent Atmosphere at first glance. Unfortunately, however, it is to the same Extent another Of these Indy titles, where "rouge-like" is merely Synonymous with missing Content. Likewise, the crevatively unashamedly high Degree of difficulty, which, however, is not achieved as in Titles such as Supermeatboy by sophisticated Level design And Trim, but exclusively by a hairy, unintuitive control, overpowered Bosses and Instantkill Elements such as the ubiquitous Spikes. Together with the unavoidable Permadeath, after a short Period of Play, the Feeling arises that it has sat up a Glare that its Inadequacy in terms of content tries to conceal by unfair Means. I'm either simply not masochistic enough and/or my Time is simply too precious to invest the Energy to "fight" against a Game that wants to stop you from being played by all Means.
