About
Take control over a frenzied vampire in this 2D “Bite`em up” action RPG. Ride the wave and cause havoc among kine and kindred. Tonight, they’re all your prey.

This version of the game was made in just 18 days. It will serve as prototype starting point for a bigger and richer experience. Hope you have as much fun playing this game as I had making it!
HOW TO PLAY
This game plays like a BeatEmUp but under the hood it behaves just like the WoD TTRPGs, rolling attacks, damage and effects based on character stats.
The controls are inspired by VTMB action commands.
Use WASD to move around the stage.
Spacebar to dodge enemies attack rolls while moving between them.
Left mouse button to attack, right button to activate Disciplines Powers.
Press and HOLD F key to bite and drain blood!
Q and E keys to cycle power selection.
Left Shift works as a hotkey for the Blink power (if you get 3 dots in Celerity).
Between enemy waves, click the Brujah Clan Symbol to open your character sheet.
Click over the sheet stats to spend experience points and improve your Vampire.
DISCIPLINE POWERS:
This will be added to the game as a tab in the sheet, but for now here are the power unlock costs and its effect:
Dots Required)Name. Cost. Effect description.
Potence -
1)Lethal. Passive. Aggravated damage to mortals.
2)Prowess .1 Vitae. Add Potence to attack rolls for x5 secs.
5) Earth Shock. 2 Vitae. Shockwave AOE causing stun and knock back.
Celerity -
1)Fleetness. 1 Vitae. Add Celerity to defense roll for x5 secs.
3)Blink. 1 Vitae. Dash move to get through enemies.
5)Lightning Strike. 1 Vitae. Enemy defense = 1 on next attack.
Presence -
1)Daunt. Passive. Attacking user requires Mental + Physical roll against Presence.
2)Lingering Kiss. Passive. Prey will follow the Vampire after bite.
3)Dread Gaze. 1 Vitae. AOE. Roll Charisma + Presence vs. Mental. Enemies run away for x1.5 secs.
4)Summon. 1 Vitae. Roll Charisma + Presence vs 2. On success, summons a friendly prey.
5)Majesty. 2 Vitae. AOE. Roll Charisma + Presence vs. Mental. Enemies paralyse for 15 secs (undone if attacked).
Skills:
Athletics: added to defense rolls and dodge.
Brawl: added to attack rolls.
Animal Ken: added to roll for prevent scaring animal preys.
Persuasion: added to roll for prevent scaring human preys.
Streetwise: added to the chance of encountering prey between waves.
CREDITS
Graphics: This game was designed and developed solo, but many stock graphic assets under CCs types of licenses were included so it could be made in time for the jam. In the next few days I'll be adding all credits to the artists that contributed, including a special credits scene in game.
