There's a levelingsystem which rewards Players for staying loyal to this game, you can craft weapons and armor after a while.
It's definitely NOT pay to win. Sure, you can level faster if you pay for this Game, but you can't buy better Armor or Weapons for real money.
But if you're patient and train your skills you'll have a great time without paying a single penny.
