This is a prototype and as such lacks features and polish.

The gameplay could be described as "The Sims" meets "Elder Scrolls".

The controls can be found via the pause menu.

Development Design and Goals:

  • Early game should be poverty survival, starting with very little and having to struggle to just to get enough to eat.
  • Mid game should be the point when the struggle is mostly over and now you are gaining more people and building up money.
  • Late game should be about buying up businesses to gain access to different crafting stations and experiment with different crafting recipe/ingredient combinations.
  • The open air market should have every crafting resource in the game.
  • The player should be able to gather resources from the environment, enough for crafting and selling as needed, but most resources will require some form of tool to harvest.
  • The player should be able to work for businesses to make coin.
  • The player should be able to steal items from NPCs and be able to sell them for coin.
  • Crafting should be a means to make coin, and more advanced recipes should be more effective at making coin.
  • The stealth system should allow the player to commit crimes without being detected.
  • Every NPC should have a schedule such that they do different things throughout the day.
  • Every building should have full interior.
  • Every NPC should be unique with some unique dialogue.
  • Virtually everything in the world should be somewhat interactable.
