About

Westerado: Double Barreled is Ostrich Banditos’ homage to Spaghetti Westerns about dirty pasts, consequences and taking a hold of your future. When your family is murdered by a mysterious desperado, you set out into the world to take revenge. Take control of your own fate and that of others, all using your trusty shooting iron. If words aren’t enough to persuade a character, draw your revolver and see what happens. You can shoot whomever, whenever you like. Be an outlaw or a saint, explore the open world, meet a varied cast of characters and decide how you want your revenge story to unfold.

Features
  • Hunt down the desperado that killed your family and explore the stories of the world’s inhabitants. Discover all the possibilities and create a unique story each time you play.

  • Ride, shoot, and threaten your way through an expansive Wild West, expanded with all-new environments like the forest, desert and mountains.

  • Soak up the western sun in a world built out of the grittiest pixels this side of Montezuma, and an expanded western soundtrack, featuring live recorded banjos, trumpets, saloon pianos and more!

  • GUNS! Let your gun do the talking, by drawing and cocking it during any conversation. Shoot whoever you want, whenever you want, no exceptions. Pick your favorite weapon, whether it’s a revolver, shotgun or even a tomahawk.

  • Multiple save slots to keep your progress across sessions and explore the splitting narrative.

  • Technical upgrades to include full controller support and 720p/1080p display resolutions.

Westerado: Double Barreled reviews and comments

An open-world all in pixel-art rather vast, full of different endings (your attitude towards people impacts to death the unfolded adventure), sides-quests to the shovel (and fittings with the theme), a system of shootings not undrawn at all, a music of hell, frankly hat the developers. I hadn't played a farwest game as good since red dead redemption, IE xD

Hi everyone already front to started thanks for reading this review, and also that this is only mine all depends on you (even if all opinions are almost positive)-first highlight of the game are these graphics: the pixel art and really very pretty , and the animations very simplistic but its still pleasant remains looked. I would all like to say that I am not the kind of person to say a game "null" for its graphic quality, but on the other hand if it is pretty it necessarily adds points, without it being so useful, but the like the game and perfect then it deserves well a small part on its excellent pixel art. -The game play: overall it's really nice, I spent 15 hours on it and I'm not bored... I made several ends and I still have it that one to do... Because Yes this game has several end (which I would not cite for not spoiled the game) always in the same place or with the same goal... (Pity but one without tired) but the villain who killed your family changes him. When has the goal of the game it is rather simple, made quests, helped people etc... And you would unblock information about the villain, basically to make it simple and fast, at the beginning of the game you know a single element of the villain (often the hat) but the hat can be sharp long or short etc... It's kind of like a "who is this?" your goal found most detailed on the murderer and this Avenged. -The B. O: really one of the highlight of the game that has me the most, a good game without good music it does not make sense (in any case for my part the B. O in a game makes quite a difference) the Western universe and well respected and you would not be disappointed at that level. -And to finish the language of the game: a small weakness on this side... a translation may be in the future would be the good come... otherwise you will spend your time with an English/French dictionary next to you... of the more characters speaks a really cowboy slang and without a minimum of knowledge certain Word will be impossible to translate... In conclusion I strongly recommend this game, sympathetic or diabolical characters, from the "Marshall" to the bank robber, from the pistol to the BOLAS through the shotgun, and especially from patience to the accusation without justification. This game and for my by one of but prefer from my list of stem and Coop games is even better. In short thank you for what we read until the end hoping you assets helped for your choice but personally it is worth its price.
