Shovel Knight: Specter of Torment reviews and comments

Didn't think Specter Knight would be such an interesting character. His dash mechanic also makes for great platforming and combat
«Underrated»
Specter Knight plays great, leves are redone to accomodate his mobility and bossfights are more stylish than ever thanks to his jump slash
«Can’t stop playing»

The game is simply excellent, certainly by farming well its health the bosses are sometimes anecdotal but the level design offers a twist. What's more, we unlock the challenge mode at the end of the game to prolong the game.

This game is incredible, a very good alternative for the full Knight Shovel, for people like me that is saving for the full game, I see no negative aspects but the difficulty of certain achievements, game completely advisable

This game is highly recommended, especially if you have no money for the original (as I happened to me) is a good plataformero with a challenging difficulty. I recommend it to all retro gamers who want a new 8-bit NES-style adventure

Excellent!, if you enjoyed the first Shovel Knight, then this game you must definitely play. Remember to buy Curios for the final boss, although they are not necessary at all. The best Thing to end the game is that you unlock a new mode "Speed run" and another of short challenges. Recommended.

This game is absurdly incredible. In my opinion, the little it costs is a work worth admiring. Very good atmosphere. The Retro Soundtrack is spectacular. Hours of fun can be endless. The difficulty is quite correct. If you doubt to buy it, do not give it to the button that green up there;)

Good history and ambience, with touches of humor, entertaining! Something negative about the game? They curran everything and leave the title screen with a black background, could be better... The Birrias (objects with special abilities) costs to handle more than one at a time, it would be good to assign a letter.. And finally, if you like to get all the achievements you will lose a lot of time (I find it unnecessary to repeat so many times the story to achieve everything, 2 I'm worth by the game + but ja no more..)

The game has a lot of physical bugeadas to such a point in which one tries to make certain jumps or puzzles as the game forces you to do it (Already in if there are no 2 ways to do the same thing) and still proceeding in the only way possible this ends up taking many times to per Der by Bugs. Next, the game's autosave system is lousy, just lousy. At the end of a puzzle that took HOURS I went to the tower to buy some things and ensure the autosave, literally memorized the amount of gold that had the character and closed the game, when I opened saw that had a much smaller amount, so the game had not been saved including So after all the things I did in the lobby. Beyond all these problems, the game has a history, character design and way to narrate the story they fall in love with, so if you don't take as much into account as a problem the above, the game is worth 100%.
