Product received for free Western 1849-Reloaded (PC) Western 1849-Reloaded is a shooting shooter in third person type shooting gallery, we have arcade art title-style Borderlands. It'S The year 1849, in the village of Sunset Bluff. The Quicksilver Bandits want to do theirs, and as a good cowboy, we're the town's hero. We Are in the Old West and our mission is to end the bad guys who came to get a gold mine discovered recently in the village.
At the beginning of the game our character is covered behind various objects or obstacles to avoid being shot down by enemy shots. Its gameplay is focused on moving from left to right looking for the best angles and coverage to shoot Quicksilver's outlaws. Sometimes it becomes very annoying/complicated To get settled in the right way in the scenarios, but probably in a real shootout the least we have is comfort.
Our character will always be covered, and only leave the camp when we decide to aim against an enemy. This is not to say that we are never exposed, because even if we are crouching behind some structure, the enemies on our sides can shoot us (coverage is only effective against those characters we have in front), the aim, know how to use the Environment and manage well the perks is vital. As a good arcade, there is permanent death with the option of reviving in exchange for a considerable amount of money.
The features of Western 1849 Reloaded allow us to improve our equipment and use advantages (perks) as we move forward in the game. The weapons (revolvers, shotguns, rifles, dynamite) are updatable and we can buy them different aggregates that improve the damage they cause. The control system has a good design, the usual of any shooter.
This mechanics of elaborating a set of advantages based on cards that we can choose at the end of each round of enemies works very well, it is fun to wait for the wave to finish to see which cards you leave to choose. The fun Here is that each game can be different, depending on the cards we leave to choose our strategy has to vary. In Addition, there is a board of leaders where we can keep our best scores to play against our friends to see who is the best. So far, there are five levels: Town Square, Railway Station, Gold Mine, outskirts and Old Canyon.
We Found few bad things: the enemies are not very varied, and the game lacks an exciting soundtrack. At times (mostly) you feel slow, lethargic, and in general it does not generate much emotion if you play it alone.
For a price of $5 we can not order more in Western 1849 Reloaded, but certainly there are things to improve, we could eventually see corrected and updated for good, like seeing more varied enemies and a gameplay a little more moved and dizzying.
Developed by Nawia Games is available on Steam, and has full support for control.
