Picking up right where the last game left off, with BJ in such a vulnerable state, really sets a compelling tone. I remember being genuinely shocked by the opening sequence. MachineGames did a fantastic job crafting this alternate history, and the level of detail is incredible. It reminds me of how some indie developers go all-in on niche projects. It's almost like they went a little crazy with it! It reminds me of seeing some crazy cattle 3d models someone created for a farming simulator - unexpectedly detailed and intense.
