Best game ever
It's a good game for sure, but I liked the atmosphere of the 1st and 2nd games much more. Partly because I don't like switching characters, I'd rather develop one avatar, and partly because the world was nicer in the previous games.
Dungeon Drafters is the real deal when it comes to rogue-lite games. This thing is packed with original mechanics, a huge variety of enemies, and tons of tactical freedom. This game will have you constantly improvising, finding solutions even when it seems like there's no way out. There are no saves (only one per floor entrance, but you should survive to use this).
There's zero level-based character progression system - you are literally what you make of the cards, rune stones, and curiosities you pick up. Your starting class is just a jumping-off point; you can completely transform your build over the course of a run, and even switch it up before the next attempt thanks to the preset system.
The only downside is the city area - it's a real slog to get around, and it's mostly just there to grab new challenge quests. But other than that, Dungeon Drafters is the quintessential rogue-lite experience, where unpredictability and adaptability are the name of the game.

My favorite game since 2014.
My fav game
Fun to play
This is a beautifully unique game. I love the hand drawn art style and world of the game. The gameplay overall is fine but can be clunky at points. The combat elements of the game are pretty weak especially considering the hay creatures can just kill you by looking at you. I ran into a bug with the vehicle getting stuck in park which is potentially game breaking. I was able to reset the game and it worked as intended after. The story of the game is good and makes good use of folklore of the Alps. I would recommend this to any horror fans.

This is a fun lite Metroidvania. It has a very bright art style and unique premise and world. I enjoyed a lot of the transversal stuff and the exploration. The combat is pretty subpar though. You never really improve how much damage you do so are always just fighting spongy enemies. On top of that there are a few badly designed enemies, one of which can literally get you in a stunlock. Overall this was an enjoyable playthrough and easy platinum.
This is a beautiful game that really captures the sense of having to figure out everything on your own. At launch there was also a crowdsourcing aspect, much like Fez, that helped others along and to understand the world better. Some of the puzzles are obvious and a lot are a little much sometimes. Thankfully so long after release you can just look up everything if you get stuck. It is very interesting how much inspiration the game takes from multiple sources. I found the gameplay overall to be good but I found the parry system to be quite bad so I just stopped using it. The art style is great as well as how they frame the world. The mechanic of assembling the manual and unlocking hints along the way as well as finding out some aspects are just plain wrong is a really cool way to experience the story. This is a must play for any Zelda or adventure fans.

«OST on repeat»
So I bought this thinking it was Pac-Man Adventures in Time, a much better game in a similar 3D vain. This game isn't awful it's just not good. Some of the platforming is really bad and I found the jump to be very bad in most segments that required distance. The boss fights are bad because the health system is bad. Just very mid in my opinion.

There is so much to love about this game. It's like a distillation of all the best parts of the old school FPS games, mixed with newer tech. The game looks great and there is a lot of options to mess with in terms of looks. The soundtrack is great and really gives you DOOM vibes in some parts. The flow of gameplay is the best part. You start off weak but quickly become a killing machine when you start to build your arsenal. I do wish they would've streamlined the unlocks because I finished the game without unlocking all the guns. There was a good variety to the weapons and while they had their individual perks, I did find myself using mostly the higher tier of the categories. The game is decently long with some good levels. Lots of replay value to be had. There is also a mapmaker for PC with community maps playable on console which adds to the replay value.
