AIPD - Artificial Intelligence Police Department reviews and comments

This Review was written as Part of the TDR Game Review Marathon. Two Winners of the Competition Will be allowed to choose one of the Matches interviewed in March. To learn more about this, click HERE [tdr-gaming.de] "AIPD – Artificial Intelligence Police Department" is an actio-loaded Top-down shooter in which you have to defeat several Waves of opposing Units with your Police Drone (or whatever you play). The Game was developed by Blazing Badger and released by mamor games on January 29, 2016 at a Full Price of €9.99. Scope The Title "AIPD – Artificial Intellignece Police Department" doesn't actually have much to do with Police. You fight ever-increasing Waves of enemy KIs, and after each of these Waves you choose a new Modifier that makes the Game more difficult, but raises the mulitplicator bonus. There are five Game Modes: Standard, Strong Transporter, Enemy Environment, High Tech Armada and Design. All Game Modes are playable at the Difficulty levels Light-Brave, but there's no Bonus when playing at a higher Difficulty level, which I find a bit of a shame. The Worst thing, though, in my Opinion, is that the Leaderboards are not separated by Difficulty, but only by game Mode, which invalidates the Leaderboard and the Skill shown with it. Over Time, new Weapons and Modifications that have different Characteristics unlock your Drone. Unfortunately, there are only six Variants for each and you unlock them very quickly. I had unlocked all the Weapons and Modifications after about 90 Minutes and that's just too little. The Game Modes are also very repetitive and there is only in Wave 15 a Boss fight, which is even lighter than the Waves in front of it. There is a lack of other Maps, Bosses and Game Modes, but this Game did not once get an Update, which shows that the Developer has probably put the Game to One side. That's a great pity, because the Game actually has Potential. Graphic The Graphics of "AIPD" are actually very good, The futuristic blue, orange with some purple Elements fits together very well, however, it becomes very monotonous over time. There are no Color Changes, except when Using the Time Dilation, where everything gets a little brighter. Why not make the Color a little darker In the Boss fight to amplify the Drama of The Battle? You could also introduce that you can choose the map colors and thus decide for yourself what you want to look like. Playing Fun In The Beginning, "AIPD" IS even a lot of Fun. You want to keep improving and cracking your own High Score and unlocking new Weapons and Modifications. Due to the increasing Number of Enemies in the Waves, the Game is also becoming more and more difficult and to do so you have to make sure that the Weapon does not overheat. But if you unlocked everything at some point, the Game becomes so repetitive that the Fun goes fluttering in the process. More Boss Battles, other Maps and other Game Modes would bring much more Variety and thus make the Game more attractive. Music The Soundtrack of "AIPD" IS about 40 Minutes long. Considering you don't spend too long in the Game as it's more of a casual game, the Duration is also completely OK. The Music fits perfectly with the Genre of the futuristic Top-down shooter. I just have to complain that I noticed that the Tracks are played in a certain Order, not randomly, but over and over again. As a result, you hear the same Songs over and over again at the Beginning and I find that very annoying. Sound Each Opponent gives off a different Sound when you hit it. Even the Attacken/shots of the Opponents have different Sounds. What I also like is the slow motion effect of all Sounds, when Activating the time Dilation. In the Area of Sound, nothing went wrong here and therefore there is even the full Score here. Price performance £9.99is far too much Money for the Perimeter. The Game is worth a maximum of £1.99million, if any. Conclusion "AIPD" is a Game with actually very great Potential. The Problem is the Developer who hasn't released a single Update since the Game's Release. This lacks scope, varied Graphics and Fun to play. Summary circumference: 5/10 Graphic: 7/10 Play Fun: 6/10 Music: 7.5/10 Sound: 10/10 Price Performance: 2/10 Note: 4 Thank you for reading it!
