About

Those of you who have never dreamt about finding a gold nugget, please raise your hand. Ok, now, gather around, because I’m about to tell you something. The rest of you can just enjoy this experience, because there is nothing I can tell you to make you even more interested. It’s just a “dream come true” for all of us, right?
Gold Rush allows you to discover the tough experience of gold mining. You start with just an excavator, but with passing seasons, you become the wealthiest man in Alaska.
We created a big, detailed world with four unique gold mining claims. On each, you will find a fully deformable terrain. Each fragment of our world has its own background story you can discover in spare time.
Our main goal was to create a high-fidelity simulation. You will spend a lot of time in the excavator, as it is the main gold mining tool, so with that in mind, we spend the majority of our time giving you the best possible experience.
There is no campaign in our game. Instead, we decided, after a long tutorial, you will go into Sandbox mode, where you will not be constrained by anything.
Remember, nobody can work all day, all night. Even if you’d like to, the hard work of gold miners is often hampered by the force of nature. Difficult weather conditions can easily spoil the machines and stop the extraction for a long time, not to mention the winter, when you can’t dig at all.

Gold Rush: The Game reviews and comments

I've got a lot of simulators under my belt, some of which are about certain jobs that sound pretty tedious and boring (a lot of them licensed under PlayWay as well, cause that's kinda their thing), but MAN this one is boring as all hell.

What a tedious, boring, buggy game. Workers don't actually do anything except invisibly make you money magically. The panning is one of the most aggravating mechanics I've experience this year in a game. The various glitches and bugs are a deal breaker alone

It hurts that such a good Idea has produced such a sad Game. First of all, I think the Possibilities of which the Game gives you great. In theory, you never have to reset the Vehicles, because you almost always have a Possibility (with Cables) to free the Cars with other Vehicles. Also, the Structure of the Washing Machine-although long-but I thought it was kind of great, because you hardly ever have anything like that. The Repairs that have been newly introduced are good, but occur almost a little too often. The whole Idea behind the Game would be awesome, but unfortunately I now have to come to the negative Aspects of this Game first of course the graphics catch the Eye. At first Glance, it is quite nice, but the Textures are extremely muddy as soon as you take a closer look. This can Be seen in the First Person's View, especially in the case of Vehicles. For a Game that claims to be a Simulation, the first Person View is the most important, and if you can almost count the Pixels of the Textures, that's unpleasant. In Addition, the Outside Mirrors do not work, which logically makes it impossible to drive backwards in the 1st Person. Furthermore, the Game has extreme Sound Problems, which is noticeable later In The course Of the game. Some Machines drown each other so extremely that you no longer hear your own Car or only know that a Machine is on, as it emits an Exhaust gas cloud. Furthermore, for example, there are no "scratch noises" so when you fill the Shovel while Dredging. The Game is structured in such a way that you go from gold Digger with Shovel To big Clain owner and then own all kinds of Machines and also a Washing Station. The Grind Factor is huge because the first Plot hardly takes Gold. For luck, there's the Option to buy everything for $1. So Now you have a huge Fleet of vehicles, a Washing System and you want to get started, but you notice very quickly that being a gold Digger Alone is somehow not Fun. There Is no Multiplayer and the Developers don't want to install one either (on the Grounds that it is designed as a Single Player Game and they are too small to create an MP). 1. This Game is predestined to be a Multiplayer game! Division of Tasks is the Code word! Even in the Series (from where the Game takes its Name there is no 1 Man Claim, something is completely limitant who came up with it. 2. WEN the Game is designed as a Singelplayer experience, then why the Hell does the AI not work, or why is there no AI?! You can hire People, but you can hire these Works on an Exile table and just generate Gold. It's dead pants all over the Claim, even with 100 Workers. Something like that Is just not Fun. I want to Drive Diggers, or Tippers, or repair, or Wash out Gold. ABer I don't want to Do Dredging, Tippers, Fix something every 10 minutes, the same game from the front and all Day. In Addition: In the Time I drive Excavators and Tippers, my Washing Machine runs on happily. But, of course, without a Mum. Apologize the Language But something like that is completely mega or certified! This Point alone is that, unfortunately, I-do not give a Buy Recommendation. That Earth physics is not the yellow from the Egg, that the Claim division is supposed, that the REpeartures are too common-would not be a Problem-if the Work could also be done by a Fellow Player or an AI. But no. The Developer faces off right away! Therefore: Those who can come to terms with what I have described above. He should buy the Game and have his Joy. Anyone else who would like to play such Games with Friends or who likes to cast a Role in a Simulation should leave their Fingers off it! Got done!
