JAGGED ALLIANCE 2: WILDFIRE brings you back to Arulco. The population is being terrorized by a reckless army; in the meantime the main export goods are drugs. Subversion and fraudulence has infiltrated all levels of local government and the ever-present Mafia has his fingers in many pies. You are working undercover on behalf of the US government and your goal is to destroy the mighty drug cartel. You'll need a skilled hand to put together the right team of mercenaries and the negotiating skills of a diplomat to get the sceptical population on to your side. You'll also need the strategic genius of a general and the fighting tactics of a guerrilla.

Should you fail, your "client" will deny all knowledge of your existence.

First Of all: I have known the JA series since its Beginnings and I still like the Game principle very much. In this Respect, I also consider JA2-W to be a good Game. Still, I can't recommend the Game. That's because of serious Bugs that ruin the Gaming Experience. I play under WIN7 and have tried it both in Compatibility Mode and without it (both as Administrator). Unfortunately, without any noticeable Difference. As soon as I switch from the tactical View to the Map, there is a Risk that the Game will start to "spin" when Returning to tactics mode. Hotkeys no longer work, Mercs can no longer be dialed individually, and the Map can no longer be scrolled. In Short: It just becomes unplayable. This Bug is even more likely to occur as soon as you switch to the Desktop in between. The Solution: Save-Leave Game-Start New-Download Game Field That I had to do 5 times within the last two Hours of The game. I feel this is a Fun Brake and Imposition and will therefore turn away from the Game disappointed. What a pity! The Background seems to be that the Developers had stopped supporting It as they felt Betrayed by the Publisher. At least that is how it has been discussed in the Forum and elsewhere in the Network.
