Omerta - City of Gangsters reviews and comments

Omerta-City of Gangsters. As the Boss of a newly founded Mafia Plan, her Atlantic City is trying to take over. After disappearing from Sicily and settling in America, the Protagonist devotes himself to organized Crime. You start as a small Fish and start as a Henchman of local Crime Bosses. As The Game progresses, however, your own Empire grows and thrives and you continue to rise within the Underworld. The Game is kept in a classic Bird's Eye view and you should think of it less, like a brutal Mafia Boat. Much more, it's an Economic Simulation with a Mafia Scenario and regular turn-based Fights, similar to XCom (just not quite as well implemented as there.) At the Beginning of each Level, you get a Task to work towards. You will always start the same. Smaller Stores will be rented, initial Breweries will be opened and the Black Money Business will be brought to Run. In the Course of the Levels you will always get new, sometimes varied tasks and deal with local Criminals. With increasing Income, you will later have the Opportunity To build Brothels, Casinos, Hotels, etc., and to collect the thick Coal. The Police are constantly sitting in your Neck and you have to stop you being snapped by this one. It is important to smear Deputys, to cheer evidence to other Criminals, or to bribe directly the Chief Commissioner. Pro:-Credible Mafia Scenario-Main Symphatic Character, which you can create at the Beginning. You can set the Character's Backstory and Attributes, etc. Similar to Fallout. You cannot determine The appearance of Yourself-Motivating Gameland-Varied Tasks-Nette Story-Finally long Game time-Spligent Fights, Which are characterized by the relatively large Weapon selection and The Skills of the individual Characters a certain Get tactical Depth. Contra:-Sometimes monotonous-Tasks are partially repeated-Part of extremely high Degree of Difficulty in the Fights-Rarely stupid Monologues. When a Character shoots another During a Fight and says, "I shoot, you fall over. ' ', I really don't know whether to laugh or cry. Furthermore, the Characters repeat their Sayings over and over again, which at some point annoyed me so much that I switched off the Language altogether. Conclusion: Omerta was a lot of Fun for me personally. The Game principle is very motivating and the Game offers Game time for many Hours. If you expect an Action-packed Shooter, you're certainly out of place here. But If you fancy an Economic Simulation with a Mafia Scenario and occasional Shooting Money, Omerta is the Right thing to do.
