About

Serious Sam 2 is the sequel to the Serious Sam: The Second Encounter. The game has single-player and multiplayer mods. In the single-player campaign, the player controls the main protagonist of the series named Sam “Serious” Stone who is once again challenged by extraterrestrial overlord Mental and his infernal forces that want to destroy the humanity. In order not to let them do that, Sam must to go through various different worlds and collect parts of a medallion. In his journey, Sam meets natives living in the worlds in which he travels as well as he is guided by the Sirian Great Council. The multiplayer game mode includes online co-op and deathmatch regimes. Serious Sam 2 includes new engine called Serious Engine 2, which features high dynamic range rendering and light bloom.
Like the first game in the series, Serious Sam 2 is just a plain shooter where the player has to kill dozens of various enemies including bosses. Once again, the player can choose between various of different weapons in order to kill hordes of enemies from other worlds and prevent the annihilation of humanity.

Serious Sam 2 reviews and comments

Translated by
Microsoft from Deutsch
Review of Serious Sam II Serious Sam II arguably goes in a rather crazier direction than the split predecessor. Well, if that's even possible. And apparently: That's it. The Opponents get crazier, the Levels more colorful and the Music ... The Music is a great Masterpiece! You actually wit your Feet with you all The time. Until the Game is played through. During the probably not too long playing Time of about 6.5 Hours you get pressed Into your Hands various crazy Weapons, with which you can probably kill even crazier enemies. A major Change is now the Vehicles that have come to navigate larger Areas. In My Opinion, these are a welcome Change and to defend a Castle in a colorful Fairyland, while the Hordes attack and you can ball through them with your Vehicle, this is just pure Fun! Let's Just Get to the Pro-contra list for the fast among us: (I'll quote quite a bit from my First/Second Encounter review below, As various Points still apply) Pro: + Graphics are even better than in the First And Second Encounter and have a Light Comic Touch. One can now be divided On that, but please me! + lots of Secrets and Eastereggs, some of Which will make you laugh! The Giant Heinis can no longer be found, but several others! Just Be surprised. + The Humour might not be for everyone, but who lies it will find ingenious Oneliner here! A perfect Easter to Schwarzenegger and Co.! + The Soundtrack is always very important in Serious Sam. Otherwise, such a Series of games would probably not have been so successful in the first place. He is coherent and even motivated to continue playing. And this is especially true in Serious Sam II! In my Opinion, probably the best Soundtrack in the Serious Sam series! + The Map design is quite good. + Varied Places that are visited in a linear way. Be surprised! Especially in Serious Sam II one is crushed by Ideas and Variety. Actually not typical of the Series. + Many different Enemies to which you all have to react differently, but who would like to place these flying Angels with a Rocket Launcher ... Please very much! Don't Take a Compulsion. Also in Serious Sam II there is the Return of Weapons from the Predecessors, but they now look much more crazy than already! + Various Weapons are present and I personally use almost the complete Repertoire, but I hate this Cannon. At most, you can deal with the Final Opponent quickly and that's the time. I don't like the Thing. However, the Chainsaw and Sniper Rifle are great Weapons and a welcome Implementation! + It is not possible to Reload the Weapons and that is a good thing. This works in Serious Sam III BFE AND is so disruptive In Fluid Gameplay! + The Companion parts have been Fun. + There are the headless Kamikazaemaemaemaemaws I mean AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! No more. Contra:-The German Language is not supported. But no Problem, as simple English is spoken in a very seriaemic Way. -If too many Opponents appear one after the Other, the Gunplay will be already badly monotonous. -Collecting Items that can be collected one after The other became boring at some point. Although the predecessor has been the Case, it has not seemed so annoying by a long shot. Prontra: +-Weapons Change is somewhat awkward Serious Sam II is, in my Opinion, a worthy successor to the First Serious Sam and makes some Things significantly better, throws something new into the Serious Sam formula and rounds it all off with an earthword-like Soundtrack ! Clear Buy recommendation! I thank you for Reading and wish you a lot of Fun playing! ;-) http://store.steampowered.com/app/204340/Serious_Sam_2/
