About

Sockman is a single-screen platformer inspired by the classics like Rick Dangerous, Jet Set Willy, Manic Miner, Jumpman, Prince of Persia… A hardcore platformer, very difficult, even more than suck your own elbow.

His real name is Domin Dominguez, 64 years old plumber by profession. In the absence of one day to retire, Domin comes home from work with one idea in mind to relax in his place. But instead of fluffy and worked hollow his couch, Domin meets face to face with his destiny: a sock.

Sockman only jumps and moves left and right. Occasionally he talks, but usually never be. He can also dance and die a thousand different ways and heartbreaking. The truth is that no one has seen him dance, but say they probably will not do as well as die 200 times per minute, and with little practice.

Sockman not use weapons or mushrooms, or ocarinas, or bagpipes, or milk. Moreover, he does not like the nickname Sockman . Much less wear undies other people crammed into his head.

Juegazo... Do not let you deceive by the graphics... It will give you a few hours of fun and despair... That if, when you finish (if you finish it clear, je, je), is very replayable to try to die the less times possible... That If, have a spare control by hand, because you still stamped against the wall in a moment of frustration, which are muuuuuuuchos. For the!!, if all the games would be like this, would be 24 hours a day attached to the screen...:-D

A GAME THAT BRINGS US THE TASTE OF CLASSIC PLATFORMS. It Consists of going beyond a series of static screens full of platforms, traps and enemies. Hard, but very entertaining, even if you die several times, you always want to keep trying. I would say it's like a mix between Jet Set Willy (a classic) and Super Meat Boy (another classic more modern). Recommended for all those who like retro style games, technically simple but challenging and very playable.

Sockman is a magnificent platform. I thought I was going to give 2-3 hours of fun and in the end I have lasted about 15-16, and I want to fun more times. It Has a very good level design, a good curve of difficulty, 3 totally different worlds, collectibles needed for a mini-games, and a Simple mechanics (3 buttons) but you have to learn to master very well for some levels. The character's control is very well calibrated, so if you die, it's your fault. Even though the story is just looking for a sock, with that excuse, there are many funny dialogues at the beginning or end of the levels. Little more I can say about this game, I recommend 200%, and more for the laughable price you have. For All platform lovers, you HAVE to buy it.

We Are faced with a very careful work in every detail, which shows the great work and dedication in creating this work. The level design is outstanding, is thought to millimeter and leaves nothing to chance. Platforms, items, traps and enemies create a set where each screen becomes an increasing challenge, and once overcome you create a personal satisfaction that in turn generates a great addiction. You will Not stop dying again and again, and you won't stop trying until you get to the long-awaited exit door to the next level. In Addition The game has enough content to entertain us for hours between collectibles, hidden areas, mini-games and its difficulty curve, having a very polished gameplay and that will depend on a lot of our ability with the command. A real gem completely recommended. It's Worth every penny of its price. A platform like the ones before that generates a tremendous nostalgia of that time so longed of the machines 8 bits like the spectrum, Amstrad or Commodore. If you are a retro lover you are already taking the time to include it in your library.
