Takedown: Red Sabre
About
TAKEDOWN is a thinking-person’s shooter; brutal, hardcore and deadly - like the real thing. Not for the faint hearted, Takedown requires you to bring your 'A' game - FPS fans looking for an ultra hardcore experience only need apply!
The player that takes things slow, aims carefully, and plans their moves right will overcome the player who runs in with guns blazing. Close-quarters battle brings the fight inside, as you would see SWAT teams or SOF units taking down small numbers of dangerous adversaries. Non-linear environments allow for multiple routes and tactics and add replayability.
In recent years, shooters have become homogenized. There used to be a wide range of different games to choose, from run-and-gun action titles to slow-paced tactical shooters focusing on strategy and tactics, but now most shooters follow the same model of big set pieces, regenerating health, linear levels, and “cinematic experiences.” The realistic tactical shooters with in-depth planning have almost entirely disappeared in recent years.
This game focuses on realistic weapons modeling, squad based play, in a close-quarters battle setting. To succeed in this game you need to take things slow, study your environment, and execute flawlessly. If you get shot, there are consequences. You won’t be hiding behind a wall waiting for your health to regenerate. If a team member goes down, you will have to assess the situation and reallocate team members if necessary to complete the mission. Don’t expect all of the tools and plans to be forced fed to you – it is up to the player to ensure their team is equipped and ready for the tasks at hand. With features such as realistic bullet penetration, accuracy, and recoil, choosing the proper weapons, ammunition, armor, and gear for the mission is up to you, so choose carefully.
Gameplay modes include single player, co-op, and competitive multiplayer. If you are a fan of old school shooters where thinking meant more than running and gunning or perks, or if you are just looking for something different in your shooter games experience, this is the game for you.Key Features:

It is a very good game, the principle is there but it lacks a lot of work on it. It's a pity that the game is in final version because it had a lot of potential.
There are several advantages that it is a very realistic game because you die in two three bullets and it is his that I liked very much, the fact that when you die you ' ' respawn ' ' in a menbre of your squad, you can personalize your classes and play with your friends to make the campaigns (several small missions) or play against.
now, the disadvantages. There is no atmosphere (no music or genre), it is very hard so those who ' ' rage ' ' is careful! translation errors in the game (armor without ' ' e ' ':/) your characters are very slow (they walk very slowly) you do not know where to go during a mission there is no marker that tells you where to go and the multiplayer is to shit (see below) in third , the multiplayer. If you look at the Coop side it's okay, you play with your friends in COPERATION and you will have pleasures. but on the team Deathmatch side..... FROM the real ♥ ♥ ♥-♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ you do not know with whom you are so you shoot everywhere so you kill all your teammates! I'm not sure if there are any teams where it's free for all. you only have one life not handle so no ' ' Yolo ' ' and even with friends this can be crappy.
to finish, I find it still worth the trouble for $5, if it is in rebate, try it, the missions are more ' ' fun ' ' between friends so look for the ' ' 4 Pack ' '. It's a shame that it was the final version because it could have been promising. for I recomande I really like this game for its realism.

I don't advise anyone.
A game so sloppy and "finished with pee" if I can say that, and why?
A game where one gets shot by a totally poorly managed AI, missions and maps with impressive numbers of 6! : o
Either saying this had to be the successor of many games in the game of strategy and squad in the FPS category, and well it's far from being, not enough missions, and not enough maps to my liking, a totally abused AI I find (one shot barely is v u if we miss our shot), the recoil of the weapons is really horrible, far too high and that's not all. One can count pretty disappointing graphics because to be released late 2013, the new engine of Unreal engine was already current and it is not used in this game there! > < A that we add a boring and slow gameplay, stay Crouching all the time to finish the missions, a management of the classes totally bugged (when you select the class sniper for example, this always comes back to the base class), and do not talk about the options of game, or other that are actually just the one to make pretty and nothing else.
Extremely disappointed with this game, which seemed to be however not bad at first glance, but it is a huge false advertising, finally good it will still allow me to laugh and type good bars (only positive point) so it is badly screwed and complicated to play and that is not worth at all its price.
A multiplayer that could have been very interesting anyway, the fact of having to play discretly, to infiltrate the buildings... but it's very far from the in game account, and if you really look for this type of game, I strongly advise you to turn to the series of "Splinter Cell" which it is just excellent and very realistic! :D
