About

A mysterious distress call reroutes your Marine Assault Unit to LV-895 in the outer colonies, where deadly Xenomorph legions, hidden corporate secrets, and ancient alien ruins await your arrival.

Set in the iconic Alien universe, Aliens: Fireteam is a cooperative third-person survival shooter that drops your fireteam of hardened marines into a desperate fight to contain the Xenomorph threat.

Face off against waves of terrifying Xenomorph and Weyland-Yutani Synthetic foes alongside two players or AI teammates, as you and your fireteam desperately fight your way through four unique campaigns that introduce new storylines to the Alien universe. Create and customize your own Colonial Marine, choosing from an extensive variety of classes, weapons, gear and perks, battling overwhelming odds in this heart-pounding survival shooter experience.

THE ULTIMATE HUNT
Play a pivotal role in the epic events that occur 23 years after the original Alien trilogy as a Colonial Marine stationed aboard the USS Endeavor, battling terrifying Xenomorph threats. Stunning visuals, iconic enemies, realistic environments, powerful weapons, futuristic equipment, and an eerie soundscape fill out new storylines in a series of replayable campaigns that evoke and expand upon the blockbuster films.

SURVIVE THE HIVE
Face overwhelming odds against over 20 enemy types, including 11 different Xenomorphs along the evolutionary scale from Facehuggers to Praetorians, each designed with their own intelligence to ambush, outsmart and eviscerate vulnerable marines. Utilize cover and master team strategy to survive extraterrestrial threats as they overrun your fireteam from every angle, swarm through doors and vents, scramble across walls and ceilings, and strike from darkness with uncanny ferocity.

CUSTOMIZE YOUR FIRETEAM
Choose from five unique classes - Gunner, Demolisher, Technician, Doc and Recon - each with their own special abilities and character perks. Utilize an extensive arsenal of 30+ weapons and 70+ mods/attachments in your effort to eradicate the Alien threat. An innovative Perk Board modifies and improves your abilities, while a unique Challenge Card system alters the approach to each Campaign mission, offering a new experience with every playthrough.

Aliens: Fireteam Elite reviews and comments

I powered through this solo and I'd like to say that it would be better with friends but I honestly don't think it would be. The game is so bland to it's core and there is little to ever raise it up to be interesting. The one thing it gets right is the art design and it's dedication to the source material.

Journal Style Review:

Looks like it’s going to be very generic and not that good. My opening impressions are this has a lot of world war Z vibes to it, except world war z felt great and looked nice and this game does neither.

This is a prime gamepass game. It’s nothing special but it’s fun for a little while.

This is very generic and they could have done a much better job, but it’s an easy going guilty pleasure. The aliens universe is a great one and there are some fun hectic moments with a bunch of aliens swarming towards you. I wish the progression was more substantial. I like the idea of the customization but the game wants you to beat the missions multiple times and I’m not doing that. I’m beating them once on standard and then I’m moving on.

Beat them once. Maybe was 6ish hours of gameplay. Even by the last couple missions I could tell I was getting over it. I do feel like watching the alien movies now though…

Final Score: B
Not the Best Left 4 Dead game, but worth checking out
The graphics and overall presentation 5/10 . This definitely looks more at home on a last gen console / system than current gen Gameplay 7/10 . This is your run of the Mill 3rd Person Shooter. Nothing new or ingenious here . You’ve seen it all before . The positive aspect of this though is you can immediately get into the action and not be worried about a learning curve Story 8/10 . Lots of fan service here with a ton of new lore to add to the expansive Alien franchise. The game truly captures the frantic action of the Cameron Movie and gives you a taste of what the USCM felt like going up against the Xenomorphs . You get introduced to new ( rather nasty ) variants too Overall - 7/10 . If you’re an Aliens or Shooter fan this is a fun ( relatively cheap ) game to get and spend time in blowing away Giegers Nightmares. The game can be played solo or coop but the fun lies in coop . Spent 4 hours yesterday with the squad on Standard and while we were in control most of the time blowing the nasties away , some times the sheer number of Xenos coming your way from all sides ( and I do mean from everywhere) can make a relatively controlled situation into a SNAFU real fast 😅 . Stay Frosty People !
