While my Ships can manage their Weaknesses a little, or get faster, etc. etc. An important tactical Element may still be the Officers. We can always take three of them with us and each of them gives us a Battlefield bonus to activate. (E.g. Strengthens the Armour of all Ships in the Sector) These Activations are limited and also take Time before they can be reactivated. But Are really helpful for getting a short-term Advantage against other Battle associations. A tactical Chunk of Acient Space might not look like this, but can be really demanding. For many Ships there are Counter classes and only a few are really somehow good against everything. For example, Ships are divided into Sizes from S to XL. The initial Lancers, for example, are particularly Effective against S and M Class Ships, but are totally useless against L to XL and are then only shredded. The other initial S Class of one are Bombers and are weak against S class, but strong against L to XL Ships, etc. In addition, the higher Degree Of Difficulty is really crisp and you are really challenged.
