About

The human race has expanded into the galaxy thanks to the wonders of the technological singularity. You have become so powerful that you can manage vast armies across an entire world that provide you with an ever greater galactic empire.

Now, humanity is under assault by a new enemy. Calling themselves the Substrate, they seek to annihilate the human race from existence. You, as an up and coming member of the Post-Human Coalition, must deal with both this new menace as well as renegade humans trying to lay claim to their own worlds.

Play as the Post Human Coalition or their eternal foes the Substrate and battle for control of the galaxy. Experience maps of unprecedented size and detail with the unparalleled power of the world’s first native 64-bit RTS engine, Nitrous.

Enjoy the game online with friends in ranked or unranked multiplayer mode or play it by yourself against a powerful non-cheating AI in skirmish or campaign mode. No matter what mode you play, strategy is the key: deciding what technologies to research, where to send your armies, how to manage your economy, and what units to construct are crucial to victory.

Experience a massive-scale real time strategy game where you wage war across worlds with thousands of units. The conflict has escalated, and it’s time to choose a side.

Ashes of the Singularity: Escalation reviews and comments

Product received for free Attempt 2 From Stardock Had bought me the first Version of this Game, which had disappeared due to less than 30% positive Recessions from Steam, as Compensation for this impossible First Version I had received this Version gifted n Well, And see Micromanagement is still ne Kathastrophe. Individual Units if you have a Scout or something on the Fleet, removing them from a Fleet is a Fight. There are occasional Combat Missions where the NPC Mac is talking and while you let it be talked out, you have lost the Mission. xD Another Problem of Assigning success is still just as buggy as it was in the First Version. For example, I was simply not accused of success in a Mission 3 Successes such as:-commanding 30 bomber Squadrons-Dreadnaught lvl 5-10k Uranium Naja so with Version 2 of AoS there are finally quest Texts, set to music and even German. In Front of it, untted and sometimes there were some Variables. XD But well alone that for this Game as it plays out, still being traded here for €40 is just naughty. (Please see again the old Customer Recessions here, all of which have been cleared ...) 1. For a Throwback of the protruding Control of Sins of Solar Empire (also Stardock) 2. A Second Version that has not been able To improve control And where there are still old Problems. Is this Price simply not justified. Once The Sins of Solar Empire Community Said: Stardock please this Game (SoSE) in better. What did they do what else did. Failure. What do they do then 2nd Failure ... People listen to your Community ... Well, but think this Developer Studio can no longer make Strategy games. So I summarize again: Pro:--big yet detailed Battles-good Effects-intore selection of Units-German Setting (after all, doesn't have every Game);) Contra:-unbalanced Combat System (Sniper and Dreadnaughtkiller are the best Units with a bit of Cannon Lining.) (80% of my Army, Cannon Fodder excluded, consists of these Sites with me)-all other Dreadnaughts except Dreadnaughtkiller are useless-Dreadnaughts are destroyed too easily (so at my Games, feindl Fall. Dreads in 5 Seconds ...) (Yes, also the TANK dreads) ...-Flawed Assignment of Success-Untypical And uncomfortable Control for the Strategy genre-While the battle range blocking quest texts (no Timestop and click away should not be an Option.)-During The Battle Interroction-unfriendly Missions like those with the 7 Trinium Generators (Who doesn't know how to play here loses in a maximum of 5 Minutes) (So even a Strategy veteran sometimes has Problems in the Initial Attempt)-The Fleet chamber Mander system is in some Missions A hindable example: If a Mission where you have 2 absolutely separate Bases, you now order units with the Fleet commander On the front, also the ones are possibly built in the wrong Base and want to be easy by the enemy base with the Mandatory Assignment. Drive... cya Unites. ;) So if you already have such a System then please either evaluate logical Pathfinding or manually assign the Factories for the Fleet. Hope this Review illustrates this Game and I think it's a Shame that all the old Reviews have been deleted, that alone should give you pause for thought. ;) For all those who don't believe it, try to find In Steam Times Ashes of Singularity without the Epithet. :D Mfg Arcu
