The sequel to Battlefield: Bad Company is the ninth game in the Battlefield series overall. The plot is set in an alternate history timeline, in which there's an ongoing war between the United States and Russia; and the Russians are winning. They have already conquered most of Eurasia and made Latin American Countries their allies. The protagonist is a member of Bravo-2 spec ops squad. He is tasked with eliminating colonel Arkady Kirilenko, the leader of a secret project that is about to produce a Russian superweapon that can be used to defeat the US once and for all. The rest of Bravo-2 is computer-controlled. The NPC will assist the player and are technically immortal; however, they cannot complete missions without player's actions.
While most of the time you play as infantry, there are certain stages where players can drive tanks, helicopters, gun turrets and other vehicles. One of the most distinctive features of the game's Frostbite engine is that all elements of the environment are fully destructible. Besides plot-driven single-player campaign, there's also multiplayer that allows five different modes. All characters are divided into four classes: Assault, Engineer, Medic, and Recon. Medics, in particular, can speed up the health regeneration; however, lost hit points are slowly restored by themselves.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 reviews and comments

The Game is good. I just played the Single-player campaign and I'm just going into it here. The Game is a Shooter, nothing profound (Story and Gameplay) but made quite entertaining. The Story is about a Russia preparing to conquer the World. The Last serious Adversary appears to be the US. In this general Defensive Struggle, there is still a special Story that is told in this Fireplace Campaign. This is about a Super Weapon, developed by Japan in World War II, it eventually falls into the Hands of the Russians and thus threatens the US in the ultimate Way. The Story is, on the one hand, even more complicated, and, on the other hand, very much tapped. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1547858143 The Story sends us to different Locations (Pacific, Alaska, South America [which reminded me rather of Southeast Asia]), which makes for Variety. The Saviour of the World is the B (ad) Company, consisting of 4 Men. One of them, Preston Marlowe, we play. Most Of the work is stuck on us, the other Soldiers of the B-Company shoot a lot, but mostly (gametechnically intentionally) next to it. That suits me because I like to be a Lone fighter in Games. After all, there's just a little Hurrah patriotism or War-is-horny posturing. It is clear that only 4 Men are saving the USA, but what is it. The Missions consist of clever Levels, but one has a little Freedom, which has the Procedure; If I come from left or right, I climb a Tower or I look for the Melee. There are enough different Weapons available, so Sniper Rifles, submachine Guns, Shotguns, etc., And Ammunition is also abundant. Somewhat unusually for Shooters, most Covers don't last forever, but are crumbled by the Shelling. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1547859613 The Behavior of the Weapons is noticeably simplified (no Warping, no recoil, no Keeping), but I also like it easier. But then I found something a bit of a shame that you can Meet everything well with almost any Weapon. There are many Waypoints where your Companions are waiting for you and also many Checkpoints where the Game saves. The Waypoints may be a bit much, but it's still possible. The Opponents are so lala, neither stupid nor super-smart. Depending on the Level Of difficulty, there are more of them, it's not going to be really hard now, I think. It is interesting that the Opponents are sometimes barely recognizable due to sand or Smoke and later you can often only use the Estuary fire to make out the position Of the Opponents. In addition to the usual Combat Missions, there are also Rides and Flights where you have to partially knock out your Opponents. This is more amusing than really hard to press cross-field with a Tank, for example. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1547863757 The Chart is relatively good, at least probably for 2010. But There is nothing spectacular. Only very rarely did there be Graphic Errors. The Sound is good, too. The Noise of War, for example Permanent Fire, is very haunting. The Speakers are in German. The Controls are good. I played with keyboard kit mouse. The Buttons are adjustable. I had two-wise (on my first Attempt 6 Months ago) Problems because of the EA account. Now, however, it went without a hitch. Pro & Contra: + Entertaining Shooter-Action o Little in-depth but still existing story-The Weapons are a little too little indivudell in their Handling Rating: 8/10 Maybe Battlefield is a War Game and in this respect not so great. But It was entertaining and well done, although also somewhat sterotype. I try to enjoy the latter without approving the former.
