About

A dead man’s soul cries out against the force of a ferocious blizzard. He cries for help. He cries for answers. Then he screams as he is torn apart like damp tissue paper.

This wasn’t the first time, and it won’t be the last.

The police are powerless to stop it, so the duty falls to the only ones who can. What force could be so powerful – and so malevolent – that it would destroy the very core of a life in order to get what it wants? Rosa Blackwell and Joey Mallone mean to find out, even if it means risking themselves in the process.

Blackwell Epiphany reviews and comments

Successful pixelart realization, inspirational storyline and pretty soundtrack are the main qualities of the last episode of the Blackwell saga. Pure point & click, it is more intended for amateurs of the genre and those who know the previous Opus of which it is the conclusion. If the inevitable objects to be recovered and the puzzles to solve cannot convince the refractories, let us point out that the Blackwell saga-taken as a whole-is an excellent introduction to the dot & click... more commercialised at low prices. A final obstacle however, it is only available in English at the moment. This is the last episode of the Blackwell series. A few years later, Rosa collaborated as a medium with the police in an unofficial way, and rendered services to the famous Inspector Durkin, rather ungrateful and reluctant to send the elevator back. But in the middle of a case, Rosa finds herself involved in a shootout and things suddenly take on a very personal twist! Even worse, someone or something is having fun mowing the spirits under her nose before she can help them! In the face of this new threat, Rosa and Joey will have to redouble their prudence and ingenuity to finally discover what is going on. They really put the package on this episode. The graphics and animations are even more worked, there is a good balance between the puzzles solved thanks to the inventory and thanks to the notebook (which has fully resumed its role of mixer of ideas), there are even some new puzzles a little more complex. Everything is very varied. Writing level, we are still filled, the story is rich in emotions and twists! The episode is so dense that the list of characters and other information about the notebook becomes long as the arm, which can baffle a little and leave you in the blur for a moment regarding the procedure to follow. Fortunately, it is always possible for Rosa and Joey to come together and get back on the right track. You will even play some scenes from a distant past explaining Joey's presence on Earth, as well as the role of some important characters in the series. An interesting addition that allows to vary even more the game! In addition to all this, the game pays the luxury of being much longer than its predecessors, it will take you between 7 and 9H to finish it. A brilliant episode that concludes an excellent series.
