So close but not quite there.
Combat is a solid Budokai Tenkaichi successor, the artstyle is good, the roster is solid and the move selection is fantastic. The thing dragging this game down is a lack of any form of a story mode, even an alternate story. The arcade mode is not a fun way to unlock new characters.
Could've been great.
A great roster with a fantastic, faithful to the source material move pool, an extra short movie and a good look.
Its greatest mistake is the sad excuse for an arcade mode to unlock characters and moves
DBZ fighting games are fun cause they play essentially like street fighter, but the street being fought on has not just height and width, but also depth, and flight makes new use of the height.
