Deadfall Adventures is an action-driven first-person shooter, spiced up with elements from action-adventure games. Become an adventurer, hunt for treasures, explore unknown regions of the world and rescue the damsel in distress from the clutches of enemies, both earthly and not-so-earthly. Join James Lee Quatermain on his journey across the globe! The StoryThe year is 1938. James Lee Quatermain is a man of many talents, yet holding on to money isn't one of them. James is an adventurer by trade, just like his legendary great-grandfather Allan Quatermain. And he knows how to squeeze money out of this famous name of his, while at the same time despising it. Despising those who believe his great-grandfather's tales of the supernatural and those who make fun of them alike.
Accordingly, Quatermain isn't all too keen on escorting Jennifer Goodwin, an US agent and former colleague of his, to an Egyptian temple structure in order to retrieve an ancient artifact - The Heart of Atlantis. Neither does he believe in the reputed invigorating qualities of this artifact, nor does he care the least that a division of the Ahnenerbe, the Nazi department specialized in the occult, is after The Heart as well.
But life has its ways of changing one's perspective. Quatermain soon finds himself part of a hunt across the globe - from the stormy deserts of Egypt to the icy depths of the Arctic, and all the way to the steaming jungles of Guatemala. In long forgotten temple structures the thrill of the chase awakens the true adventurer in Quatermain, as he and agent Goodwin strive to be one step ahead of the Nazis and the Russians, one step closer to obtaining the Heart of Atlantis. And deep in these temples, where age-old guardians awake from their eternal slumber, James soon learns that his great-grandfather's stories are not as crazy as he had always believed. For all things live forever, though at times they sleep and are forgotten...Key FeaturesAction -Adventure gameplay from a first-person perspective

        Deadfall Adventures reviews and comments

While there are some negative Points in the Game, I was quite satisfied and had some Fun with the Game. Story Mode offers around 10 Hours of Play, which I Think is perfectly sufficient. Graphically, of course, the Part no longer tears out Trees, but is still quite nice to look at. Above All, the Level architecture is very successful visually. The Puzzles are quite nice, but sometimes they make you despair. You have a Notepad with You that explains the Puzzle by Sketch, but it doesn't really tell you what to do. So at one Point I had the Problem with a Switch puzzle that I thought would have to be a Bug as it was slightly different in an older Let's Play than in the current Game. Apparently, one or the other Change was made by Patch. By Chance, I discovered an Entry at The Steamforum from a Player who had come on it. What else can I say about the Game ... Old-school stop. Hose levels, poor Synchro, but a damn good orchestral epic Soundtrack for that. As you might expect, with such a Type of Game the MP is Part dead than Dead. That's Why it makes no Sense to buy the Title for MP Battles. In the Sale for a 5 OK, everything about it is: Not Ok. As I said, I still had my Fun and gave me a Thumbs up.

Woow, I'm surprised how damn good this Game actually is! Here and there it has a few Corners and Edges that aren't quite great, but all in all the Investment paid off as I had a Lot of Fun with the Title in the Period I've already played. I particularly liked the fact that there are many Rätzels that are light to medium heavy and can be managed in a not frustrating long period of time. This Game can of course be compared to "Tomb-Raider," although it does not quite matter to the Quality of this Title, but still was able to convince with a harmonious Atmosphere in all Areas in which I have been so far. The Story Design corresponds to the "Complexity" of the early Tomb Raider titles. The Character Design is good from the graphic Quality to well ... I really liked the World Design. Some Characters have slightly reminded of previous Tomb Raider titles by the Quality, but this doesn't weigh so badly. The Game is even a First-person shooter, sometimes with very good, but also very mediocre, weapon sounds. The Feeling of Weapons is very good for my Taste and fun. The Death Animations, in turn, are very Mediocre and even the AI is Mediocre and sometimes behaves a bit silly, but this all keeps itself within tolerable Limits. Verdict: Buy Recommendation, especially when the Game is in Sale. Since I buy almost all The games in the Sale, it is now a bit difficult for me to judge whether the Game would have paid off at Full Price, but I guess so, because it surprised me as mentioned at the beginning. Graphic; 7 out Of 10 Points Story: 6 out of 10 points fun factor: 8 out of 10 Points Alone that I write a Review for this Game is an Award, since I have done so far only for Skyrim and Farcry, but the Game does not get to these Titles.
