Early Access Review
After working around a nvidia related driver issue I finally got to play the game. Also the developers got in contact with me and helped me out. Really nice guys that care about their community.
So what I can say so far is:
-the game has really stunning graphics and a lot of detail went in there
-the parcour movement system works mostly fluently but still could use a bit polishing
-the voice acting is greatly done!
-the storytelling makes me want to find out what happened in that world
If you like parcour games with challenges, this is just the perfect game for you.

Early Access Review This Parkour Game combines beautiful Design with well-functioning Gameplay!
After I bought it in the Summersale, I wanted to look in today for about 30 Minutes. This quickly turned into 3 Hours. In Some cases, the Graphic Filters are a bit exaggerated and you no longer immediately see all the Jumping Points in the Air. By the Function of setting a Point to which one comes back at The Touch of a button, one can easily iron out Errors before difficult Passages without expecting major Problems.
Also for 9.99 I talk out a clear Buy recommendation here, when you address the Design of the Game world and a First Person Platformer. I definitely want to keep playing.

Here is my Review of the Game "Downward" After 1 Hour in the Game.
The Game is great Class in my Eyes.
The Graphics are so far super playable in ultra settings at FullHD.
Should anyone have a minimalist Hardware ... The game looks quite respectable even in lower Settings ... However, the Unreal Engine 4 unfolds its full Beauty with everything at Maximum.
The Control has been well done with a Mouse and Keyboard and as an old PC Bunny I have no Problems honking and pumping my way through the Area ... So I can't comment on a Controller. :-)
The Story is so far OK and so bleasthy is going on.
But let's face it ... It's a JumpNRun in 3D ... What do I want big with an adventure story?!
The Price on Offer with currently 7 Euros and a few Tackles is more than fair and more than justified for the Game.
Even the regular Price is reasonable.
I have already experienced much less than fairer.
So Who is on jump acrobatics ... Exploring... Pretty Look ... Island Romance ... Value here comes at its Expense.
However, the previous Jumps are very simple.
Can be that it gets more fierce for finger acrobat fans as The Game progresses.
If not, these People will presumably be disappointed.
For my Part, I hope it doesn't get any more fierce.
Jump styles and Variations back or forth ... But you shouldn't get finger cancer at the Keystrokes like in some other Games.
In my view, if you like this, you should learn Fishing Nodes or adjust to Gout. :-D
For my Part, I find the Game successful.
Clear Thumbs up.
