About

ENSLAVED: Odyssey to the West Premium Edition is one of those unexpected surprise games which one could call a forgotten gem. It tells a story about two characters who go to the journey and try to survive in a post-apocalyptic America. The game takes place in the future, about 150 years from now, war has destroyed the world and left it in ruins, and only a small amount of characters survived and yet they are imprisoned in slave ships who takes them to the west without turning back.
There are two main characters – a young woman named Trip, who manages to escape the slave ship and Monkey, who also escaped the prison ship with a help of his powers. Trip with her hacking skills hacks a slave headband and links Monkey. Now if she dies, Monkey will die too. Player gets a control of a Monkey and goes into a journey into the unknown post-apocalyptic world where one has not only to maintain deep relationship with his partner but also to survive in the dangerous world corrupted by sinister machines.

The Premium Edition includes not only an original game but also an additional DLC content and new character skins. Enslaved is based on 400-year old novel “Journey to the West”, co-written by famous novelist and screenwriter Alex Garland. Enslaved delivers an unforgettable and deep cinematic experience, shows one of the most believable post-apocalyptic worlds and offers interesting and deep combat mechanics.

ENSLAVED: Odyssey to the West Premium Edition reviews and comments

ENSLAVED™: Odyssey to the West™ Premium Edition isn't really Premium. Unfortunately, the Port of this Console Game has some technical Quirks, such as how strong your Game PC is, leave the graphics settings on Medium, otherwise the Characters start flickering regularly and in some Places you fight against the Camera instead of with it. ENSLAVED should also be played with a Controller rather than a Keyboard + Mouse, precisely because of the Camera. Otherwise ENSLAVED is fine, with memorable Characters and a nice Story, you like to stay there until the End (after 8 h), even if the Story was in a Place with something about META. So If you're Looking for a contour action adventure platform climbing game with RPG elements and great Characters on a sales day, and have a Controller, you can access if er/has a medium Tolerance for the aforementioned technical Weaknesses. The Rest may not really be with ENSLAVED: Odyssey to the West. PLUS the advertised Extras the Game brings are not appropriate (In my Opinion). Joint of my Curator Group for more Tips http://store.steampowered.com/curator/6859180-The_Spacewingman%27s-Spiele-Tipps/if you like;)

The Short Version is: The Game Is fun BUT a somewhat loveless PC implementation In detail as follows: (Main game) + Sound is well mixed in the Game, good German Speakers + Control (XBOX 360 Controller) + Camera guidance-something unusual due to the zoomed half rigid Camera when Climbing in cramped Situations, but serves the Overview + Animations are very successful + Good Climbing passages which become a bit more demanding over Time even due to Obstacles and Traps + crashes are not possible (saves a Frustration) + Sympatic Characters + Pleasant Increasing difficulty + Combat system + occasional Puzzle + AI + Cloud:D + Playing Time is just under 10h for the Main Game + beautiful Game world (from a Distance:D) o graphics is Average (State of Console Capture from 2010-PC 2013) o no free Climbing as the Path is in Principle predetermined By shimmering places-but this creates a Good Flow of games o potential given away as there is no Co-op Mode o Story develops only slowly-No Advanced Graphics settings-Clearly Quieter Cutscenes than the Game itself DLC: Wasn't quite as great as the Main Game. Rating similar To the Main Game with the following Deviations + Sound is in play and The Cutscenes the same as + animated comichafte cutscenes + funny climbing and Running Animations due to the Agility of Pigsy:D + useful Auxiliary Tools + just under 3h Game time + Story + tactical action Necessary as you otherwise quickly bless the Temporal o no Boss opponents o climb only with Grab Hooks o tollpatchy Hero (funny at first but annoying a bit later)-no melee/Blocking (no need-defense) anymore as others Character-different Style of play-sometimes bugated Cover system (one is recognized by the Cover because Glitches occur)
