A fun playground of capitalism and consumerism for those who love arson. Not much a game but more a toy and a damn good one at that. Most the enjoyment comes from getting new items and seeing what they do when burned. There is also a lot of charm in the writing from both the letters and item descriptions that even made me chuckle at times.

Setting fire to things has never been so much fun. Great little game and a cool soundtrack as well.

The purpose and true meaning of the game can only be discovered by playing to the end! "Little Inferno" is really a crazy game. Sitting in front of the fireplace burning things, spending digital coins to buy more things to burn and ultimately make more money for more things to burn. Meanwhile, digital gifts are being sent to the girlfriend on the other side of the wall, staring into the blazing fire as time passes. The only real issue in the game: That can not go on forever. A great metaphor for social gaming, in-app shopping and other modern video game themes. Together with the great art design and the jarring descriptions of the objects and the animations a great gaming experience. The combinations also add to the game to make it a puzzling element - although the German translation somewhat complicates some combinations - but the real fun in the game is watching things burn.

So, yet another game that cannot be cataloged in any genre, but it is not a defect; on the contrary, this is an advantage. Little Inferno is a great little game, with a big heart. There is no purpose, no score or time limit; it's all based on pure entertainment. There is a plot anyway, but I think it is worthwhile to find out for yourself by going forward in the game. Everything is based on burning objects of various kinds, and if you put together two or more objects of a certain type, you will get a combo that will earn you stamps, to be used to get faster items to burn that will give you coins with to buy other items. Occasionally messages will arrive from other characters, and you can also send and receive items from them. Graphic compartment ok, sound too, I think it's something you have to try at least once in your life. Someone talks about boredom, monotony of the game and similar things; I reply that you can get bored with everything in the long run, even with Games that are more famous than an Indies developed by just three people.
