Early Access Review Stand 2nd Day of Early Access: I've now pulled the game through for the first Time and can only say for EA I'm already really excited.
As a big Fan of Part 2, I played through it again beforehand in order to have a direct Comparison.
However, I cannot comprehend the exuberant Criticism of some "colleagues" here, especially since it is usually based only on the Combat System ...
What has been delivered here so far in Game is, on its own, already neat. There is still a Lot of Lack of features and Some Things are probably not running quite round yet. But you see at least a solid Base that needs to be refined now. I'm excited to see what the next Round will be.
Short Comment for the "Stressers" and hey that's not meant nasty now ... But you already know what Early Access means? ;)
1. It is Early Access, if you make your Eyes stand up, you often "are still implemented" (I am so free and translate it:p) I just say Espionage. (The Absence is already criticized without End)
2. Yes, the Combat Mode is not like in Part 2..... I personally also think it is a pity. But mei ... It doesn't always have to be the same. Of course, it would be an absolute Highlight if the old System were still to be implemented and you could choose between old and new System. Ahaber ... You can do funny Things such as the environment (Asteroids) to gain tactical Advantages.
3. Damn again ... It's Early Access:p The Game isn't finished yet ... And we are the (beta) TESTER and HELFER that it can become the Game we would like. Ergo Review voice, Bugs deliver And that will still.
Pros:-MoO feeling back and bucking properly-good and extensive tech treche, mostly taken Over by the old Parts, would only like to Be able to Grill planets (destroy) ... wenns already there, have not yet found.
Edit ... If you go Death Star directly, you don't need a special Weapon for. \ o/-If you want, really large Star Map so you can spread properly-Old Breeds (and yay ... There was something of custom, I hope that means you can tinker together later as in Part 2, just like in MoO2, but not yet implemented.)
-A Lot Of Customization options for Ships-Great Graphics-Death Star:)
Past Weaknesses:-Combat System getting used to and Din-based I would personally like better, an optional Offer would be nice, from time to time rockets and Radiation Weapons go blunt through the Environment.
-GROUND Fights are (so far) not animated-AI remains to be seen what is still happening, even various Levels of Difficulty, but generally but wonderfully recognizable that it works and reacts ("Construction just not near me":p)-diplomatic System needs Definitely Tuning, so it's quite tough at the time and the AI trades from time to time very ... Arbitrary. Gerad is still scraping at best friend status and within 2 Rounds (Without Aggression on my part or building close to its Limits, the War is declared to me ... Very strange.)
-Anterans are still missing? (Have not seen se yet, at least) ... But surely:p-No Leaders so far, hopefully still found Bugs come so far:-Diplomatic System: Feeling arbitrary action of the AI-combat System: From time To time rockets and Radiation Weapons pass bluntly through the Environment ... That is certainly not supposed to be the case.
-If a Planet is polluted and you click on "View," I am basically sent to the southernmost (lowest) planet Colonized by me, but not To the polluted planet, definitely bug.
Conclusion: If you thought the old Parts were great and are looking for 1 to 1 Copy, you won't find it and it's best to stick with Part 2 ... At least according to the current State of play, in which, as I said, there is still a lot of Air to The Top. Those who are a little more cosmopolitan and can still muster a little Patience will surely be thrilled by this Remake. For my Part, I am and I am looking forward to further Development. Because the Combat System so, has its Appeal ... If the Environment is properly felt.
