About

16 years ago, the city of Newport Falls belonged to the criminal organization IMPERIO. The members of this group spread fear and terror and held the once picturesque Newport Falls in a stranglehold of organized crime. For a long time, the police had nothing to oppose this power and IMPERIO was free to do as it pleased. Until one day a wily police officer, John Croft, appeared on the scene. Together with his taskforce, he was able to put a stop to this syndicate's deeds bit by bit. But just before he could arrest the leader, he and his organization disappeared without trace. John Croft, the hero and father of a young boy was found dead a short time later. There were two bullets in his chest. But the case was never solved. IMPERIO disappeared and the city blossomed and developed magnificently.

16 years later, there is no longer any sign of what had happened. IMPERIO has returned and flooded the urban area with its criminal activities. The unthinkable happens when the mayor puts on a large banquet to present his future strategy against organized crime, which has been on the rise for months. During the presentation, a shady man draws a weapon and shoots at the mayor. Bullets fly; glass shatters and panic breaks out everywhere. At first, all that can be seen is the mayor lying on the ground. Next to him, police chief Michael Reese, riddled with bullets. He saved the mayor's life and paid with his own. The killer has escaped unidentified.

In POLICE TACTICS: IMPERIO you play as Harvey Croft and take on the vacant office of the police chief. You are responsible for upholding law and order in Newport Falls. Coordinate the emergency vehicles and personnel of the municipal precinct and put a stop to crime. Make sure that no crime goes unpunished and convict the perpetrators! You are the first line of defense in the fight against organized crime. You must prevent crime from prevailing and take out the big fish before it's too late. Collect and examine a wide range of evidence and protect your city before it sinks into a swamp of crime. Use your police units to their full potential. Train and deploy crime scene investigators, special units, police officers and detectives. Manage your headquarters and make best use of your budget to ensure the best standards of law enforcement and hazard defense.

With increasing success in the fight against organized crime, you will take on greater responsibility and unlock new areas, units and enhancements. Solve exciting cases, investigate capital offenses and prevent everyday misdemeanors. Will you be able to complete your father's lifework and put IMPERIO in its place once and for all?

You start the Game as the new Police chief who is slowly introduced to the different Game Systems. Why someone police Chief, of all people, will not even get a normal Patrol organized and it has to be explained first I do not know, but also did not bother me because I was able to use the Help very well. The first Patrol is created quickly, then the first Story Missions come, gradually unlocking new Vehicles, Specialists and Upgrades. At the beginning, One can select Only strip Policemen (increase the Security of the District as long as they are on Patrol), Investigators (Interviewing Witnesses at crime scenes) and Technicians (check Clues at Crime scenes) and small, slow police Cars, follow after successful Unlocking Undercover Agents, specialists for Dealing with Riots, SWAT Units, mobile Radar traps and other Units I don't know yet. Successfully completed, accidental Crimes that always appear again and again in various Places of the City as well as constant stripes ensure The satisfaction of the city and flush Money into the Budget with the Policeman paid, the Headquarters upgraded and better Vehicles are purchased. Unprevented Crimes and escaped Offenders sometimes tear smaller or larger Holes in the Cash register. Why one does not manage to provide security For lack of Finances, of all things, makes No sense to make Storytelling technically sense, playfully of course already. Unfortunately, the Game plagues some Bugs, but the Developers seem to be relatively active in the Forum (have looked in first) and plan probably desired Features that are unfortunately still missing (automatic continuation of the Strife, Pause mode) also implement if possible. The Graphics are functional, the Style is tasteless, but the fun of The Game is quite high. Nice Game, surprised me very much because I didn't have it on the Screen before it was plöphically releaed.

Police Tactics is a Real-time strategy simulation that certainly doesn't get to Emergency, but consistently implements the Idea behind the Game and works well. Detailed Review below. Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SF_SXSvRFuM First of all-I must openly confess-I was extremely sceptical. As the Game progressed, though, my Skepticism has settled more and more. The Pro-and contra list lists a few Points that struck me positively and negatively at the Game. + Story: The Creators have come up with a nice Story around the Game, which is consistently pulled through throughout the Game. In addition to this "Main Strand," there are always smaller Stakes, which are often repeated. + Atmosphere: The Game manages to convince atmospherically. Through tight Budgets, many Stakes, few Personnel and large Areas of application that are gradually being expanded, the Game manages to put the games in lasting strain. + German and US Police Cars + Different Uses: Speed Control, Brawls etc. + Different Vehicles with Special Areas (Speed Measurement, Motorcycle, Criminal Technology) that are unlocked + Many Areas to pay attention to at the same time, which adds to the tension + Skills of the individual Employees can be improved and thus specialists can be trained + Speakers for the Story-No Speaker for the quite extensive Tutorial- Gameplay sometimes very "frickly": Individual Elements are sometimes difficult to use-Stakes: During the Stakes, you hardly have to take any Steps as a Player or instruct the Forces to complete individual Steps. They do That on their own. -Traffic does not travel realistically. -Setting doesn't quite suit German Police Cars-Pause button, which lets you snap through briefly, is missing. -Music was probably taken over by Police-The Simulation-Story inserts partly too simple-No Modding
