It would only deserve for that... As for the reduced screen... As it is a porting from Nintendo DSi have evidently opted to adapt everything in a portion of the screen.... Bad???? Absolutely not..... The playing area is always very visible and never happens (as often happens) to partially cover the screen hiding enemies sometimes insideous... Using the rest of the screen for items and menu (remember that the DSI has 2 screens one in this case is used for the playing area and the other for various menus, the choice of the reduced area on the ipad fills in part the problem of the second screen) so... The graphics are there.... The sound as well... The protagonist is very nice and is also very playable..... Currently I think is the best platform on ipad...

Shantae finally arrives on iOS, preceded by its excellent reputation... I had not had the chance to play it on GBC, GBA or DS, also I jumped on the occasion when this game appeared on the AppStore. What should I say? It's very neat work at all levels!
The graphics are beautiful, as always with the games of WayForward (at which officiates Henk Nieborg, God of the old pixel). The sound atmosphere is very good too, the scenario quite neat for a game of platforms. The gameplay is not left out, and the different objects that can be found and used give a small "adventure" side very appreciable! Touch screen controls are well designed. It takes a few minutes to adapt and then everything is fine.
In short, a very very good little game that deserves to be included in your toy library. Don't wait any longer to offer you the full version! (^_^)

This game is the adaptation of one of Nintendo DS and the truth is that it is noticeable because the quality that it has is far superior to other games developed for IOS.
Graphically has a retro style but with animations and very careful effects. It Also has sequences of dialogues with graphics adapted for Retina display with what it earns a lot. The development of the game is of platforms with missions to get objects to have magics and new items. For the more older tell them that is type the Wonderboys of SEGA but with less "role" and more platforms.
The only bad thing about the game is that it is not translated into Castilian, it is only in English, and because of its multiple texts and object requests the game's characters can be somewhat messy if you do not know a little at least the English language. I would Also add bad point to the NOT support of iCade as a game plataformero like this would win a lot with an external joystick.
In short: recommended if you like classic platform games with a touch of ROLE/MISSIONS whenever you understand some English.
