About

Steam Hammer is the first hardcore sandbox RPG in a steampunk setting featuring survival elements.
Here you'll find all the advantages of sandbox games in the mysterious world of steam engines. Immerse yourself in the late 19th-century alternate reality. Try yourself as an explorer, craftsman, architect, industrialist and conqueror. Forge weapons and armor, build houses, factories and towers, fly airships and jetpacks and stand up to the enemy.
The game world teems with opportunities for crafting tools, equipment and machinery.
The game features more than forty types of weapons and armor and over thirty types of buildings and fortifications. Build your own fleet of customized airships and fight both on land and in the air.
What makes the game special is realistic skills development. To master each trade you'll have to make some efforts.
There are no easy ways, but there is cooperation. There are no clear boundaries - it all depends on your imagination. You find yourself in a world free from rules and restrictions, with no pre-defined roles and imposed goals. This is your world.
If you are not happy with the surrounding landscape, you can always modify the terrain - use terraforming to the fullest. Construct mines, tunnels, ditches, mounds - you name it!
Develop technology and machinery, secure your town and build warships, grab your steam hammer and show them who's the boss!
Your Character
When you start the game, you create your own character with a unique set of qualities. To feel what it's like to live in the world of steampunk, you can choose both the character's appearance and their crafting and combat skills. Choose who you want to be and level the skills you need: You can gather resources, create objects and interact with the world around you.
Game world
You ended up on one of the Acribian islands, surrounded by the mysterious world of Saol. Wandering around these lands may not be safe - apart from you, there are also wild animals as well as other players who are ready to defend their territory. In order to survive, you will have to adapt quickly. Start collecting everything you can get your hands on, namely more than 250 different ingredients for crafting tools and structures.
Secrets of Acribo
All the most valuable things are well hidden on the island - in the ground, in the forest, in the mountains. The earth is rich in minerals, but you need to learn how to find and extract them. Your search for a rare plant called celebrium - the real treasure on these islands - may be particularly intriguing. Here you'll find forty five species of plants and animals, thirty types of useful resources - and that's not all these mysterious islands have to offer.
Your possibilities
What you'll do in this world is entirely up to you - which skills to level, what buildings to construct and which play style to choose. But any progress comes at a price. You can develop faster if you team up with other players. If you create a guild, you will be able to stand up to the enemy, protect your land and even collect trophies. A strong team, well-developed industry and advanced technology are key to your success on the server.

Early Access Review I actually like Games like that. But if you build a Building at great Expense-install a Machine in it,-50 Bars,-and then the Saw is broken, you produce large repair sets with great Effort-whereby machines wear out here as well. Then when you repair the Machine-just 200 Points,-3 Windows and the Machine is broken again-that makes a few-you throw in the Towel and turn away from the Game. Example: For a Melting Furnace, I need 20 Stones, 50 Clay, 5 water, 3 Copper. To repair the Oven, I need at least 5 large repair Sets, if those at all. For this I need 25 Copper Bars, 10 Iron bars, 10 Carinium (by Alchemy) 12 Mortar, 25 Nails. Is that Proportionate? Main Task in this Game,-Repair Sets in large Quantities,-I leave that to others. Do Buildings with their big Machines reward themselves to build? no. They produce the Same and in the same Quantities as small Machines. A Lot of crafting for nothing,-just changed the Landscape.

Early Access Review Hi together. Got this Game on. And must say that it is very deceient. Last Up is 4 months behind. And the Game is on the Stand like Life is Feudal 3-4 Years ago. Yes, I compare it to Lif because it's Lif only in Steampunk. The Files are The same. You can even find the same files in the House Porter as in lif. From the Point of view of the game, I have to say that it is very plump. Apart from that, the translation has some errors. The permanent annoying Fog prevents a Good View. But even without the Fog, the Landscape has no fancy or beautiful Places. I would say the Developers have stopped their Money and further development. Which I find very sad in itself. Despite all the errors and some disturbing aspects. Does the Game have a lot of Potential. When the developers (EA) put themselves in order or sell the right for the Game to someone who makes the Game out of the game. What everyone is hoping for so much. But Even so giebs just a Thumbs down. Since it simply does not go any further and 20 Euros are a pity to throw EA in the Throat.

Early Access Review Steam Hammer a Early Access title with the LiF engine (Life is Feudal). Unfortunately, I was happy to be able to try out the Setting of the Steam engines too early. Playing with your own Setting (Local) was not possible (so the Single Play Option drops away as written). The Game has been in an Endless loop while Loading And could only be ended by forcing the Task To End. Help from the Developers no Trace. Nevertheless, the Community tries to simulate a Dedicated server on the Client Computer Via program of third parties in order to be Able to be the own Master of the Server setting and without getting into Expenses of So-called Rental Servers. But a Catch has that nonetheless. Good Security Software as well as the Router would have to be configured to open various Ports that are actually closed. For a Consumer who just wants to play something, it is still totally unsuitable to deal with server/port configuration. Maybe in 1-2 Years there will be a usable Version of it, by then I will put with my Money in other Early Access titles that you can also play without IT Studies. There is therefore no Recommendation from me!
