Warparty is a very cool and beautiful Strategy game, which is already a lot of Fun and has a lot of Potential. Warparty definitely deserves more Attention, This is an Old-school uplift industry game, which includes gathering resources, (lightweight) base Building, fighting and Tapping Territory, and, of course, Waging wars.
The Game in its Stone Age/Fantasy Garb is reminiscent of Paraworld.
Per Faction, there is a Starting house that has mastered a Selection of Spells that can be found by collecting energy Points through Shrines placed at strategically important Points on the Map (similar to the one in Company of Heroes or Dawn of War Ressoruco Points), Receives. In Addition, there is a varied Range of Units with different Strengths and Weaknesses per Fraction.
The Game is very transparent and offers a shallow Learning Cuve, although there is still enough Complexity. Overall, Warparty Feels quite good so far. All three Factions play along their Heroes and their Abilities differently, excellently! Balancing Has been fine so far.
There are Minor Errors in the way/Movement of Units, but the Game plays pretty well for an Early-act game, has an absolutely dominating Performance and now has a lot Of Fun. Particularly noteworthy are the nice Sound Effects and the harmonious Submersible music. The third Group has done the Game good, both in terms of content and variation.
Definitely a Buy Recommendation for Strategy players who want to enjoy something newly acquired in possibly well-known Garb, also for that old School. It is definitely worth a Look or you should keep an eye on it.
After the first major Balancing patch, the Game is definitely heading in the right direction with it. Many Units have now received active Capabilities or distribute Damage to multiple Targets, which has been definitively lacking.
For me, Warparty is a little Insider tip.

I update my review.
There are 3 Races in this game.
I didn't finish the campaign yet, i am not a singleplayer type, but there are 3 campaigns .
1 for each faction, it looks really cool, but like i wrote, i cannot say much about the design of this campaign mission's, i did not play it at all!
Now to the Multiplayer part, thats in my opinion anyway the important part for a RTS game.
It is VERY macro oriented, this game reminds me ALOT to Age of empires, the thing is , you have no siegeweapon's in this game.
Also we got endless ressources, and VERY strong settlements.
Settlements are our Mainbases, they product worker, and shot the enemy !
It play's also very similiar to Age of Empires.
Firstly most go into Eco , then build 1 Unit and max this out.
THen you clash your army's together, and reinforce your army.
It is a Macrobattle , nothing else.
Who enjoy this style of rts. get it.
This game has a stone scissor paper prinzip.
That means 1 unittype make 50% more dmg to another unittype and so on.
BUT the downside on this is, there are races in this game with ONLY beasts (vithera)
and another race, without any Beasts ( necro)
This makes this scissor stone paper prinzip very boring, cause you know the race, you know the setup before you even scout.
So overall, it is a funny rts game for some rounds.
But definitiv not a game i will play for a long time period like i did on several other rts.
But i like more rts games like Starcraft, and not like age of empires.
If you enjoy rts games like AoE , with a ton of macro and endless ressources. this Game is something for you.
I give it actually maybe 6/10 points, but thats maybe little bit subjectiv, cause i do not like Heavy macro games.
It is on some points a Worker simulation .
Ah and second thing is the Worker endless stack on 1 ressourcefield is so Annoying .
They promissed in the alpha/beta that they will find another solution for that, now we are live with it, and i dont like it!
Also they told us long time ago that we are able to micro our settlements, i did not found a option for this actually, you can only change the stance of the building, but i didnt saw a attackmove for it! but maybe i am blind?
But also this was something they promissed us in the beta.
