good game with great sandbox. The world is well build and beliveble.

Wasn't sure about this one, since anything with a cop narrative can be iffy. It does play on racist stereotypes unfortunately.

Despite some of the problematic narrative content, I enjoyed the overall gameplay and found myself immersed in the day cycles. There's a lot going on but the controls are learnt by increments so I wasn't too overwhelmed.

General goals include meeting different types of ticket quotas, responding to thefts, and keeping police, mafia and general public point systems balanced daily (can't always please everyone!).

There's so much potential here. Unfortunately, there's a lot of bugs and jank as well. In a puzzle game which is purposefully obtuse, technical issues can quickly and severely impact the experience. You are never really sure if you're solving a puzzle or fighting with a technical issue. Underneath it all, there's a beautiful experience here. I wish the team had been able to take more time to streamline the experience.

Very addictive and presents clear goals, multiple outcomes, and an intriguing narrative. It's one of those cycle-based games, easy to end up playing for hours because you just want to know what happens next. As you advance, you can gather items that facilitate your decision-making and potentially control which outcome you get.

It was fine. The most noteworthy quality is the art design and presentation. Was not really into the characters as much as I thought I’d be. Ren is a truly grating presence so there’s no incentive to foster that relationship. And Clara is so obviously traumatized that once you sink like twenty minutes into the game there is no reason to antagonize her either. So in that regard I’m not sure how successful it is as a choice based story game. But for four hours of play, it was cool enough. 

For as jank as it can be, this Witcher Souls makes up for its modern game design flaws (lots of loading and pop-outs, t-posing, still crashes, tight and labyrinthine "world map" without fast travel or clear landmarks), it's a clever and depressing vampire novel that grips you with its mood and setting. I thought, hey, it's on sale, gonna try this one out despite the reviews amounting to a collective "meh" and was surprised by how good the experience overall was. Voice acting was top notch if you don't mind an extreme dose of British, the sounds of combat are sufficiently gruesome and the small amount of puzzle nonsense don't take away from the game - do some crafting, play spinning plates with sick people, shoot werewolves, get a little sad because of the eerie soundtrack. If it were a series on Amazon Prime, you'd be hearing people talk about this at work.

Good story, one of the best game-movie.

just a classic arcade game where the enjoyment will mainly came from if u can find the right song to die on repeat and still loving it. The game is elitist as hell, but u have content erally easy that everybody can play.

the sandbox of shoot,switch reload mele work really great and with the shield u are really push to go forward. Strange enough first time i had played it i was bored af but having replaying it in 2021 it s just remember me doom 2016, and that was simple fun. How the enemy react to the player is still funny 20 year latter the music is fucking great, and the graphisme are charming ( i dont like the remaster it s just look like a blurry mess of pixel )
