The first half of this game was EXCEPTIONAL. The second half of the game was EXCEPTIONALLY disappointing. First off, the FPS gameplay is surprisingly solid for a game of its era. The Enhanced Edition makes it feel even more modern. The plot is great and you can see how this company later went on to make classics such as BioShock, all the elements of the storytelling that the BioShock series does is here, like learning the plot from your surroundings and logs and the such. The first half of the game gets you hooked and is just pure gaming bliss. Unfortunately the second half loses that because of the sheer amount of frustration and having to backtrack when you miss a crucial puzzle (I despise backtracking, unless it is done right, it wasn't here). Also, there was a common game-breaking bug that has not been resolved, well, only game-breaking if you are trying to 100% it like I was. What really put the nail in the coffin for me was the ending. I won't spoil anything, but lets just say the endgame is a massive letdown to an otherwise good game. I would recommend this game for people who like classic FPS like Doom or Wolfenstein 3D, and maybe even those who like the BioShock series who aren't afraid of aged games. I, however, would not recommend this for the general masses, due to all the problems and frustrations I had in the second half.

Really creepy point and click adventure. It reminded me a little to Stephen King kind of terror, and I enjoyed my time with it.
I played the game. It's kinda good, but it have A LOT of technical problems. So i wait for PLAYABLE patch and replay it from beginning.

One of the best stories that will make you cry.
«That ending!»
Breath of Fire is an SNES RPG from when the genre was just learning how to exist.  It’s classic JRPG fare in many ways, from leveling up, different items and attributes, a large cast, and a chosen hero.  The music and sprites are both well done.  I enjoyed the gameplay.  The battle system was intuitive, and required strategy wary on.  However, due to the simplistic nature of the game and how overpowered the cast becomes (even at early levels,) it just feels there is so much waste.

There are whole areas with barely any activity, characters that needed stories to be relevant, many, many items that never get used, lots of weapons not worth equipping, and a really weak ending in terms of both story AND gameplay.  The whole ending is conquered by a single power being repetitiously used.

This is a good game though, for an early era RPG.  I’ve heard nothing but good recommendations for the sequel which is also on the Nintendo Switch SNES emulator.
Nice laughs. Calum was great, I need a friend like him.
I was on the fence about the game. It was no Shadow Tactics, the Old West might be my least favorite era. The pathing sort of sucks and the game sometimes has trouble following orders. But the real kicker for me was loading it up and having my quick saves marked as deprecated. I might have only lost about an hour but what kind of developer has the nerve to deprecate saves post launch? It's unreal.

Best Batman game I've ever played.
Great Batman Game.
I feel like... in the right hands, this game could be great. Those hands aren't mine. This game has too high of a learning curve with no real in game explanation of how things work. I ended up much more frustrated than anything and was just not enjoying myself one bit, so I gave up.
8/10

Galaga on steroids is pretty fun, the boss battles are great.
This game series continues to blow me away with just how amazing the story-telling is. When I started this series, I was very apprehensive and unsure how I felt about Visual Novels. I can honestly say, I am completely hooked. This chapter is far creepier and more disturbing than the last. The story is a complete rollercoaster as well. Just when you think you know how it's going to wrap up another massive plot twist happens. I completely recommend this for anyone and everyone.

Step aside Kiryu, Kasuga is my new BFF.

How do you take a tried and true series and make it even better? You flip the script. This game has delivered EVERY SINGLE THING there is to love about the series. The story is serious, the characters are incredibly likeable, the side quests are absurd, the mini games are ever present, RGG has mastered the balance between absurdity and seriousness in this title.

Yes, this radically changed up the combat but it's an incredibly welcome edition to what is almost my favorite series ever, second only to the Dark Souls Games.

This is a review in progress based off of the base PS4 Cyberpunk and low end PC performance.

I'm not sure how to score this one yet. This is a current review in progress. I've played it on both base PS4 and a meh PC, aka gets sometimes decent performance on low graphical settings and let me tell you, it's night and day. The one seemingly most popular current example is the firs time you meet Dex and he's smoking a cigar. The smoke physics are night and day. Aside from that, the game looks miles better, even when it dips below the 30 fps range, the neon looks better, and their is no npc pop in like on base ps4.

Quest wise, I'm very early on but the meeting with Royce, both build up and aftermath felt very good. I'm very interested in a certain prophet's quest line as well. It seems like despite this games many bugs and glitches, the quests will be very satisfying.

I would not recommend this game on a base PS4/XBOX at all. This game is clearly tailored to high end PCs and your best experience will be on machines of that type. However, if you're like me with a lowly 1060 and the lowest of i7's, scraping just enough RAM, the game is indeed better than expected IF you're okay with your frames taking an absolute nose dive now and then.

This game has GOTY potential but right now is struggling to catch up to the likes of RDR2, Ghost of Tsushima, GoW, LoU2, etc... as far as immersive open worlds are concerned.

In concept it's a masterpiece, but a number of mechanical and engine changes from Smash 4 (buffer, etc) and unplayable online make this installment a real disappointment.
