About

The restart

Released in 2016, the remastered version of one of the most revolutionary parts of the annual Call of Duty series. In 2007, the series moved from historical scenery to modern, got a new more advanced graphics thanks to the freshly-released consoles and presented to the players a hardcore fast-paced multiplayer. The latter is still wanted by hardcore fans, which gave the publisher Activision Blizzard a reason to remaster the game.

Key features

In the new version, developers from the Raven Software did their best to rebuild the experience (the original game was developed by Infinity Ward). The game is available for purchase, as a separate product, and as part of a bundle. Owners of the original version of the game can get Remastered for free - you need to have the original disk for this or digital purchase. The re-released game did not change the gameplay in any way: it is still a fast-paced first-person shooter. The story campaign, during which the player takes control of several characters, also has not changed. Most of the changes turned out to be cosmetic and allowed the new studio to add new technologies to the original game: for example, while prone and moving, the weapon touching the ground will vibrate the controller. Also in the single-player campaign, new cheat codes were added, such as exaggerated physics and the ability to replace heads on the shoulders of virtual people with watermelons.

The changes

The main changes lie in multiplayer, which pulled up to the standard of modern games of the series. In place, there were the same modes, the same weapons, and perks. Added new ones, like the Prop Hunt mode, in which players turn into nonliving objects and hide on the map. New content is available as the challenges unfold.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered reviews and comments

One of the better CoDs, playing this made me realize how many of the memorable MW moments are from MW2.
But too short

I played this game on veteran and wanted to kill myself after.
Highly recommended

Call of Duty (4) Modern Warfare Remastered The biggest Problem with this Game is the bad Performence that makes Multiplayer almost unplayable. This Problem occurs with several Computers, no matter how good or bad the Hardware of the PC is, at least It was not fixed until The beginning of June 2017, although there Were thousands Of Threads and forum entries on the official Website as well as Reddit and Co. Are. However, this was not the only Reason why the Number of active Players decreased: Since Release in November 2016 to the Beginning of January 2017, there has been no active VAC protection that played into the Hands of the Scripters and Programmers of Cheats/Hacks/Tools and played the Game over Night became even more unplayable than it already was. However, this was not the first Call of Duty part of which initially had to do without an Anti-Cheat protection. Call of Duty Ghosts had the same Problem a few Years earlier, which was the Death Sentence here. In the coming Weeks (As of 27.06 2017) Modern Warfare Remastered is now to be available seperat, but I advise against the Purchase! Anyone interested in the Story of Call of Duty 4 should consider buying the Original, because a Full Price only for the Story is not worth it to me, as the Multiplayer will be unplayable anyway. I wish I could give this almost "successful" Call of Duty 4 Remastered a positive And above all more detailed review, but I don't want to support such a Greed for profit any longer-so I ask You to boycott this Game completely! Rating Singleplayer: 7 out of 10 Multiplayer: 2.5 out of 10 "Stay frosty" Captain Price If you liked this Review, you can check out my Curator Page.

I honestly don't know how you could hamper the Game like that. I bought Quasi-only Infinite ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ But what is the Problem? I start by not holding down the "W" key after a Death in the MP, which takes place far too often, to run off at The Respawn. Sounds Banal, but I don't know how many times I just stood stupid after the Respawn and was scraped away right away. But that's probably just my personal Habit, too:D But I'll start. You just die too fast. The TTK is, in my Opinion, completely misscaled, it feels like you can endure 2-3 More balls in the "Predecessor," which quickly leads to the Spray & Pray in the MP. Furthermore, I get the Impression that my Movements with the Mouse just don't match the Movements shown by my Character. It's a little bit that a Solid Factor is built in that always distorts movement. Coupled, with which often jerking Images usually degenerate in a Total Disaster. In my few Hours of Play, I had several firefights where there was just no Gunshot sitting and it also made up of as if my Opponent had the same Problem at the Moment. But that's just not a Problem, the Hacker gets everybody anyway. Unfortunately, too often. I am also bothered that, as in Black Ops 3 etc, you can now also buy Crates. Sure, for those who like it, but I have a Deja-vu that you unpack an old IP, "freshen up" and throw it back on the Market to really squeeze every last Penny out of the Customers * hust * Skyrim * hust *. As if I hadn't already spent enough Money on a Game that can't even outdo some Games of Indo creation in the Alpha in terms Of performance. D It also doesn't help that another 4 Cards cost just £1515. I mean why everyone gives the Consumer if you decide to offer a full 16 cards, instead of a planned 10, out of 20, from the Original in the Game from Release. To complete this now. Just Leave your Fingers off it. It's the Money just not Worth it. If you want to evoke Memories, you'd better reach for the Original, or switch the Franchise.
