About

The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind® Game of the Year Edition includes Morrowind plus all of the content from the Bloodmoon and Tribunal expansions. The original Mod Construction Set is not included in this package.

An epic, open-ended single-player RPG, Morrowind allows you to create and play any kind of character imaginable. You can choose to follow the main storyline and find the source of the evil blight that plagues the land, or set off on your own to explore strange locations and develop your character based on their actions throughout the game. Featuring stunning 3D graphics, open-ended gameplay, and an incredible level of detail and interactivity, Morrowind offers a gameplay experience like no other.

In Tribunal, you journey to the capital city of Morrowind, called Mournhold, to meet the other two god-kings of Morrowind, Almalexia and Sotha Sil. Your journey will lead you to the Clockwork City of Sotha Sil and massive, epic-sized dungeons, where strange and deadly creatures await you, including goblins, lich lords, and the mysterious Fabricants.

Bloodmoon takes you to the frozen Island of Solstheim where you'll experience snow, blizzards, and new creatures, including frost trolls, ice minions, and wolves... just to name a few. You'll have a choice of stories to follow and have the opportunity to defend the colony, take control over how the colony is built up, and eliminate the werewolves. Or, you can decide to join the werewolves and become one of them, opening up a whole new style of gameplay.

Key features:

  • Players can take their existing Morrowind characters and save games and continue their adventures in the Morrowind GotY edition
  • Adds up to 80 hours of new gameplay and quests for current Morrowind players
  • Explore the forests, caves, and snow-covered wastelands of the island of Solstheim
  • Delve into new, epic-sized dungeons and visit the Capital City of Mournhold and the Clockwork City of Sotha Sil
  • Fight new creatures including bears and wolves, lich lords and goblins, ice minions and spriggans

  • Become a werewolf and indulge your thirst for the hunt

The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind reviews and comments

A stellar early RPG experience. Rough around the edges but massively immersive

This will always be the best Elder scrolls im afraid. As long as bethesda keeps ripping of morrowind we won't be seeing anything wholy original

Super Game, a real Classic and Milestone in the Video Game scene! The Graphics and Gameplay may no longer be the Best, but the Story and Music are more important in a Role-playing Game Anyway. You can also make sure that you can use The Steam version to make sure that you can install Mods and other things due to the Extensions they contain and the last Patches. Clear Buy recommendation for People who don't put off the Graphics!

I got a real hype on this Game through "The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind." Seeing Morrowind in this old Graphic has left me deeply in Extase. I was deeply touched by the hammerly Soundtrack I have already come to love from "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim/Dragonborn" and the mystical Feeling that I Think is very much represented in this Elder Scrolls part.

I had a Choice between Morrowind and WOW at the TIME. I played Morrowind, and that at least 2 Years! Why 2 Years? Because I explored every Nook and cranny in this beautiful World, which was associated with Hours of long Marches, because there is no Fast-travel system. I didn't watch TV, but just gamble. I Was Constantly back in Balmora stashing my Stuff. I earned the Chrysamerine as well as Defeating Dagoth Ur. Nevertheless, I continued To visit Vivec, or Ebererz, or the Turtle in Ald, Ruin. I kept wandering and had Fun. Yes, Morrowind Is probably the Best Game ever!

With almost 90 hours I finally played through the Game. Just the deepest game I've ever been allowed to play and played The story just captivates I could play it another 1000 hours and it wouldn't get boring because even after 1000 hours you still haven't seen everything this Gorgeous Piece of play has to offer And the €197 is more than worth simply a Game you must have played! Now we come to the Pros and to the Cons of the game: Pro's: Captivating Story Great Playworld Long-Term Motivation Beautiful Atmosphere Mods Which sweeten the game Con's: Crashing Bad Combat System Bad Describes But Everything in One of the Best Games And definitely worth the price.

After investing more than 400 Hours In Real time in Skyrim (I continue to play it), I had decided to play "old-school" or "back-to-the-roots" again TES3-Morrowind. I have no regrets so far, as TES3-Morrowind shows a depth of play that has probably never been achieved before and you can literally get lost in the Game! The Graphics are of course no longer up-to-date, but luckily you can help here by Mod (s)! I myself advise everyone to do so if a powerful PC is Available! In addition, you should bring viiiel Time, since for example, the "Dialogues" alone could go beyond the Scope of a Novel's. "Dialogues" in MW are more or less synonymous with viiiel leezes ... And otherwise a "must-have" in every RPG collection!
Was groundbraking when it was released. Open world first person rpg, when everything around in games were half-life cooridors and quake3 arenas. Didn’t age well though.
My love and thing that got me into modding and gamedev eventually.
