Loved this game, pretty much anything I could want in a Paper Mario.  I do wish the battle system rewarded even a minor grind, but the story is fun and whimsical, making up for any minuses the game might have.   It tells a complete story, but be aware of no endgame content for the most part.
i love this game can youput me on it .
Beautiful. The first Ori game was perfect and this one is also very close to that.

[Sega 60th Anniversary Binge #3] 10/10 - This is my favorite old SEGA title, I am once again rating emotionally. Extremely 80s soundtrack and vibes, just turn it on and lose your time. More people should be talking about this game and demanding a collection.

[Sega 60th Anniversary Binge #2] 7/10 - This game rocks, but that final boss is very unforgiving. I wouldn't have been able to get past that boss without save states.

Epic soundtrack.

This is a very good starfighter-type game. Really getting strong Star Fox and Rouge Squadron vibes here. Pretty fun, but short though, and possible to beat in one sitting.

This game is only in early access, but yet already feels so polished and really does a great job channeling the old city-building type games. Love it

Not nearly as bad as I thought it would be honestly, but pretty difficult

Incredible narrative with emotional moments that make this game my favourite of ALL TIME.
No different too Warzone, Fortnite, Apex Legends. Battle royale games aren't that great imo
I wanna like this game. I really do. I know that it was a pioneer in console shooters. I know without its impact some of my favorite games never would have happened. I know that it had to do the best it could with the god awful n64 controller. But man does this game blow. Even just controlling the game is such a nightmare that it's near impossible to enjoy the rest of it. I wish I could give a better review of this one, but it has just aged too poorly. I barely got an hour in.
I gotta be honest, I think the Star Fox series is just overrated. The first entry gets a pass, as it was essentially a tech demo showing what is possible with 3d graphics and gameplay. Star Fox 64 was the opportunity to finally realize that ambition, and I just don't see how it does. This sequel is remarkably similar to its 16 bit predecessor. With SF 64, you get the same on rails mechanics, the same series of short levels, and mostly the same control scheme, with the exception of the analog stick. I also hold a distaste for the time padding mechanic of requiring the game to be beaten in one try. This trick was necessary in older games with limited capabilities, but the N64 was long past pulling that shit. When you look at the amount of actual content in this game, it's pretty pitiful for a first party AAA release.
Yeah this is obviously a classic. I'm not a huge platformer guy but this game is just undeniably fun. As the console industry struggled its way into 3d, Mario 64 established a solid base of 3 dimensional control that feels fluid and responsive. Although something we take for granted now, the importance of this feat in the mid 90's cannot be understated.

It is clear that A LOT of work has been put into this game. The concept of recreating historical sights and portraying the most influential figures of ancient Greece is a great idea on its own, but if you add years of gameplay improvement in terms of its convenience, you'll get AC Odyssey. I cannot lie and have to say that I enjoyed the game. However, it is still a game I will never play again. Why? Because it fails in every genre.

For an action game, it's fights are too straightforward. They are not all easy for sure, just long and very repetitive: evade, strike, evade, strike, use skill, repeat.

For stealth game, the stealth part has become too simplified, up to the point where bodies disappear on their own on a higher levels.

And finally, my greatest disappointment. For an RPG, it's not an RPG at all. Historical figures are in a game for a too short time to emotionally connect with them. The dialogues are purposefully simplified and shortened, and sometimes ridiculed to take less time, hence, less interesting and involving.

Your choices and actions don't really matter. You go to a private audience with Sparta's most famous commander in chief and the letter dissapiers (because you killed him)? No worries, we won't keep a grudge. You are trying to get reinitiated as a spartan but want to wage war with Athenians? No beef, you're a misthios, everything's fine.

Story pieces are too far apart and too poorly connected to actually care. In the end you wind up rushing towards quest giver, taking a quest, running towards the objective, killing a few people, and off you go again. So underwhelming for a game with such a potential and such a crew.

All form, no sustenance. A shame.
