Buggy, but fun. Lacking a lot of choice, and could get boring after playing for a while.
«Buggy as hell»
One of the best RPG's I've ever played. Even side quest felt like they had some kind of purpose.
Ori and the Will of the Wisps is faithful to the original entry. The first hour is really rough around the edges, but it gets much better as you get more of Ori's movement kit and abilities. The story is subpar and predictable, but likes to pretend it's more grandiose than it is. The visual design is amazing, with breathtaking, colorful environments and details where it counts. The soundtrack is also expertly crafted, with songs fitting the mood and environment nicely.
The gameplay is where Ori shines. It's fluid (most of the time) and fast. Your actions feel impactful. There's plenty of gameplay options facilitated through equippable "Shards" (taken straight from Hollow Knight's charms) and a variety of weapons. There's a few moments where the platforming required is too precise, but you can just come back to those bits once you've unlocked more movement abilities. Speaking of abilities, all of them feel appropriately powerful, but a few outclass the others really badly (looking at you, Launch), to the point where you'll never use the old abilities again. To be completely fair, you get Launch really late in the game, so the power fantasy is appropriate.
A few puzzles are poorly designed, but only barely. The world could have been more interconnected, but considering the game's length (it's short), it's passable. Definitely recommend to any fan of the original. It makes for a good action hack-and-slash platformer, but a poor metroidvania.

Really did not like this game. I liked the first when it came out but at this point in time I do not think this game is very good. I got bored very quickly. This was a struggle to finish and I regret doing it. I should have bailed.

I can see why people would have been impressed way back when it was originally released because of the large scale to the game. I never played it back then. I do not get why this remaster deserves such high reviews. The controls aren’t good and the game is boring. I didn’t finish it. I did probably 8 or so bosses. The boss fights weren’t that clever. I didn’t think they were good puzzles. I saw so many posts on Reddit from people praising this game. I think they are just hopping on a bandwagon saying they liked it because they heard it was a good game or they are blinded by nostalgia. It’s not good. Not worth your time.

I don’t know if it’s this games fault or if I just don’t like fighting games. I played the campaign. Not for me.

I was not pleased with this game. I was bored. The gameplay wasn’t fun. The strategy wasn’t fun. The story or atmosphere I thought I would love, but I didn’t. I was very disappointed. I thought this game had the chance to be a top tier game and it fell all the way to the bottom. This is probably my biggest disappointment.

It has a nice art style to it that I think looks great even though I don’t know why. The way the goose moves is funny and well done. The feeling of this game I liked. Actually playing it though I did not. The puzzles weren’t actually creative and there wasn’t a lot of freedom to complete tasks different ways. It was pretty much always just the goose grabbing something and running. If you get caught by the people you just leave for a minute and try again.

Unity didn’t need to be made and really shouldn’t have been made. It felt uninspired.

Visually impressive, especially for its time. The combat was overly simple to the point where it got boring pretty quick. This game was forgettable.

Worst purchase I think I’ve ever done. Bought it full price when it came out. I played like an hour of the campaign and thought it sucked. I played the online for maybe a week and also thought it sucked. The feel to this game was awful. It was WW2 but the guns were still fully set up killing machines. The gunplay was too fast for what it should have been. It looked stupid. I thought the maps design was weak. I didn’t like the upgrade system that much. I quickly gave up on this one. Not worth your time.

I had the 10 hours on EA access so I thought I’d give it a shot because honestly it looked so cool. Visually this game looks great, you can’t knock it for the graphics or art design. Flying around and shooting enemies was pretty fun for the first 3 hours or so... But that joy wears off pretty quick and you start to see how boring the quest structure is. Also a ton of quality of life things in this game. It takes too long to make changes to your class and to get from one mission to another. Too many load screens. Overall by hour 5 or 6 I was done with it. I thought there was no way I wouldn’t at least finish the 10 hour trial, but I didn’t.

Most of my reviews are mostly positive, even lower tier games, because I like gaming and try to play games that I’ll like. This one is not. I’ve played every Assassins creed game before this except for syndicate. I was a bit fatigued of assassins creed games so I didn’t play this one till around the time Odyssey came out but I was always interested because it received good reviews and they made it sound like they changed up a good number of things to make it fresh. They did change up a good number of things, I don’t think they helped. Origins feels very empty and boring despite having a ton of content. This game is an example of why a large map isn’t necessarily a good thing. The story is boring and there are so many quests and activities to do but none of them are fun or have any character to them. The graphics are fine but the art style of Egypt is boring. This game was praised as having top quality graphics when it came out and I’m not impressed. The combat and stealth mechanics are no longer impressive in this day and age. The gameplay is not good enough to carry to this game. I was very disappointed. It’s a rare game that I started and didn’t finish. I tried three different times to get into it and probably played 16 hours over those three periods so it isn’t like I didn’t give it a chance. It just wasn’t for me.

Same deal as the first but I think the challenges are too easy in this one. I like the slightly updated art style. Still a fun couples game to play.

Fun game to play with a non-gamer. Actually was a lot more fun than I anticipated. It got pretty addicting at one point as well.

I replayed and it’s still a fun puzzle game with a story more interesting than it has any right to be. Replaying years later I didn’t find the challenges that difficult though. Maybe in the back of my mind I remembered sort of how to do them. I don’t know.

An interesting shooter with a unique idea. It’s a fun short experience. This isn’t a “skip” it’s just fourth tier level of enjoyment due to the small scope and idea.

This was the first Tomb Raider game I've played, and I enjoyed it! Really great gameplay moments, using different kinds of arrows, and the stealth made the experience really good. I didn't much care about replaying certain areas, collecting lore or doing the Expeditions, but I still enjoyed it! I very much plan to continue playing Tomb Raider, since it has now become one of my favorite game franchises!

A great FPS game! Fluid movement and great gunplay. A really short campaign, but makes up for it in the multiplayer!
«Underrated»

The atmosphere and story and general idea of this game I like but also it’s a bit slow and also lacks variety. The actual gameplay isn’t great. I think Exodus is way better than these two. Way way better.
