I’ve voiced my opinion on this series. I thinks it’s fine but nothing better than fine. I think this is the weakest of the series. I just didn’t enjoy my time with it that much.

Final Score: B
I loved the atmosphere and had many legitimate scares. I did not love actually playing the game though. The story was good and again the style this game has is very well done. But when it comes down to my enjoyment, it was fine but it’s a fourth tier. I was more invested on seeing what was going to happen than actually playing the game and also by the end you lose a bit of the fear because it’s replaced with frustration.

Final Score: B
The start to an amazing series. The atmosphere is amazing and when this came out I couldn’t believe how much I felt like Batman. Replaying it, it’s still
fun but you can really see how city makes great improvements and then knight makes amazing improvements upon city.

Final Score: B+
Same as the new order. It’s alright. Low third tier.

Final Score: B+
It’s alright but a low third tier. The gameplay to this series always feels weird to me and in this one the graphics and story are also average. When specifically in the mood for a FPS campaign this is an alright play but I wouldn’t recommend it.

Final Score: B+
Still a fun replay but this one does start to feel a bit old because of the gameplay. Knowing it’s the start of the series and leads to other good games makes it worth the play though. The atmosphere and story is still very well done. For me the second takes a very significant leap forward though.

Final Score: B+
Replayed this recently. It aged well. Such a fun concept. Legitimately scary. The second improves upon the first but the first is a solid campaign.

Final Score: B+
This one lost its appeal for me probably due to fatigue. It’s very similar and still enjoyable but not nearly as enjoyable as the second, and I enjoyed the first more as well because it was new.

See my review for shadow. This game is pretty much the same but I liked some of the unique sections more in shadow. I think this series looks very good but is just average. Also, I did like no tombs when I was playing, maybe I just missed them but I didn’t think the game did a good job of directing you how to explore.

Final Score: B+
I enjoyed this AC still and actually liked the pirate setting they chose, but this was the start of AC losing its appeal. There have been so many and I’ve played pretty much everyone before this so I was a bit fatigued even though I think they did a good job with this one.

Final Score: B+
The campaign was actually pretty fun and I haven’t typically cared about battlefield  campaigns. The multiplayer on the hand is missing that battlefield vibe. It’s the worst battlefield multiplayer of probably the last two generations, but I’ve always enjoyed the battlefield multiplayer. It doesn’t have the same feeling to it. I grew tired of it much much quicker than I usually do.

Final Score: B+
I only played this game during my replay of the series. When they came out I only played the first 2. I knew the third got a lot of crap for how they ended the story. I didn’t mind the ending. This one is definitely worse than the second, I’ll agree with that. But I still found it enjoyable and at the end of the game I felt satisfied. It was a long and enjoyable journey.

Final Score: B+
I respect that they made this game. It’s unique and a bit of a risk. I love bows so I enjoyed that aspect and I liked the unique style to this game. But in saying that I did grow a bit bored of this game by the end. It doesn’t have that much depth to it. It’s fun for awhile but nothing special.

Final Score: B+
Not well done, and actually quite embarrassing for how long it was in development, but at the same time I had more fun with Crackdown 3 than I thought I would. It’s a simple game but what it has going for it is the vertical design. The mobility in this game (especially later in the game) is actually quite fun. I enjoyed hunting for orbs and enjoyed doing the climbing challenges and I don’t always do those types of tasks in games. The middle section of the map that’s filled with gigantic towers is the best part. The campaign also wasn’t that long so it didn’t overstay it’s welcome. That being said it has many flaws including a nonexistent story, a complete waste of terry crews, very simple gun play that is only saved because the mobility adds to it, and a lack of guns or perks of any kind. This style of game just might be dated, but I don’t think that’s the case. I think they just did a poor job and are lucky that some of the core ideas behind this game are still pretty fun.

I don’t think DMCV is nearly as good as the reviews it got. It was very highly praised. I don’t get why. The characters are the dumbest characters I’ve ever seen in a video game. It’s actually hilarious because they are supposed to be cool. The monsters and graphics are well done. The story is very very dumb but at times it’s actually a fun dumb and some of the cutscenes have been pretty sweet. The ending isn’t satisfying at all though, it’s a classic “oh we aren’t fighting anymore” ending and a character getting randomly stronger for no reason. Other notable fucked up things. What the fuck was that cowboy hat Michael Jackson dance that Dante did? That was hilarious and so out of place. Also once Dante gets the nunchucks and he makes Asian sounds whenever he uses them? Is that not racist because Asians made this game? It seemed racist to me.

Now for the gameplay, it just isn’t that satisfying for me. It’s true when I get a sweet combo going i get excited and want to keep it going, but I also find this type of combat tiring. I don’t ever sit and play this game for more than an hour ish. The combat doesn’t draw me in to keep playing. I think the full offence that this game requires makes it a bit more repetitive. I liked fighting multiple normal enemies more than the boss fights. If I enjoyed the combat more I think I’d be able to enjoy the stupidity of the story and characters more. I wouldnt go so far as to say I struggled to finish this game, but I certainly played it in shorter spans, and with longer breaks in between than I usually do for a single player story. And by the end I was ready for the conclusion. I really can’t believe this games is at 88 on opencritic. That blows my mind.

This game is over rated... or maybe that’s not really fair but for someone who just played it now, maybe it just didn’t age well. The story is super dumb. It tries to be funny by breaking the 4th wall and mocking typically gamer things but the jokes fall flat throughout. The combat and mobility of the game is pretty fun. It’s the main thing the game has going for it...but it’s still not that amazingly fun. It’s reasonable, it has its moments. But idk. Maybe it’s just hard to be impressed with the mobility in the game after you’ve played Spider-Man. And I’m sure the graphical design was impressive back when it came out at launch but it is obviously very old now.

Final Score: B+
This game was such a good find. It looks hilarious but it’s actually quite a good creative strategy game. I really enjoyed the challenges. The different units were very fun to play around with. I hope they continue to add to this game so I can play more.

Review update for the new levels:

This game is great. I was playing fallout 76 having a pretty meh time and then I switched to this and it’s so much better. Some of these simulation challenges are very difficult. I love the new cowboy units also.

Finished the simulator campaign also. This game keeps getting better. I’m very excited for more content.

I liked the first halo wars a lot more than this one. I’m not sure what it was but I really don’t think halo wars 2 is a very well made rts. That being said, it’s still the halo universe and console is extremely light on RTS games so it was fun for a bit. I just don’t think this game was very deep and it didn’t keep me playing for long.

Final Score:B+
I never bought overwatch but I’ve played over two free weekends and I played it a lot each time. I had fun with Overwatch but nothing really made me want to keep playing. It was fun playing the different characters. And I found some favourites that I really did enjoy. But at the end of the free trials I was satisfied with my time.

While Pocket(o) fighter has a massive amount of charm, slowly but surely you'll find out that the real intended audience for this game is little kids, that is not a bad thing but it certainly keeps this game to have a broad appeal to anybody.

Pocket Fighter feels like a condensed and family version of a great fighting game, you have combos, special moves and an interesting yet simple progressing system that make your special moves more powerful whenever you pick up certain gems, it certainly keeps things simple and you can easily catch up and destroy your opponent when you understand them. The combos are cool and beautifully well animated, they have some nods and references for different Capcom games, i.e. Chun Li will change to a Jill Valentine from Resident Evil while executing a basic combo.

What this game doesn't have in complexity it has it in art direction and animation, the stages are like living dioramas and every one of them has little stories that happen through subtle animations, definitely is a joy to view and makes you wonder what will you encounter in the next level. Same for the fighting animation, it seems that the animators had an amazing time, the move-set for every character ranges from pretty cool to outstandingly comic, a brief glimpse of Zangief combos in youtube will make you the general idea.

Definitely, Pocket Fighter may be a game for little kids, a game that I will introduce to my own children when the time comes, but the real highlight at least to me was its art style, that's not saying that it is boring, you certainly can have a fun time with it, just keep in mind that the creators made it simple on purpose in order to appeal to minors.
