Games Available at Google Play

Google Play (previously Android Market) is the Google online store to purchase books, games, music, and applications for the Android operating system. It was firstly launched in 2008 and then rebranded in 2012. Google Play features approximately 3 million apps and has about 1 billion users. Games are just one of 34 categories in Google Play. The store offers both free-to-play and buy-to-play games. Titles are divided into several lists depending on their genre, popularity, users' ratings and the number of downloads. Additionally, Google Play shows all previously installed games, suggests personally recommended titles and special offers and novelties. Multiplayer games and console ports are specifically highlighted. Players can add games on their Google Play wishlist. The service also provides parental control to show their children only family-friendly content.
