Its ugly as sin thanks to the default RPG maker assets but gameplay wise its actually quite smart and intresting. Here you play a murderer and its up to you to not only commit the murder, but get away with it scott free through manipulation of events and evidence. Often goes on sale for next to nothing and is worth a few good playthroughs.
Cute little platformer where every single level has different gimmicks to it. Some of it has aged a bit thanks to the old XNA engine chugging along but its still worth flicking through to see what odd gimmick is around the corner.
Takes a bit to get used to some of the older design choices but once you get going, this turns out to be a pretty fun little adventure game full of tricks, traps and nostalgia-led inspirations.
Theres a few ok things in here and some of the puzzles in the later chapters can be fun but good lord the lead characters are so frustratingly shitty and the overall feel of the game never quite rises above 'Meh'. Only worth trying on a deep discount.
Bland, boring and devoid of anything resembling level design. Avoid.
Oh my this FMV game has aged quite a bit and not in a good way. The various cutscenes are supposed to be quirky and spooky but really just come off as hokey and awkward. The puzzles meanwhile really are across the board both in difficulty and likeability with some particular ones being unnecessarily mean (Those... Soup... Cans... AGH).
Its worth picking up if you happen to like old adventure games but for anyone else, probably skip to something a little more logical and less fustrating.

Yeah its a fairly basic match-casual sort of game. Its not a bad game by any means but I cant really reccomend it above the hundreds of other very similar games that exist.
Its fine... A little too minimalist and basic for its own good at times but its short length prevents that from being a real issue. Overall it is worth playing through but its not something you'll really remember.
I wouldnt say this adaptation of the 39 Steps is bad by any means, the voicework is done nicely, the minimalist art works well and the small pieces of simple gameplay do make this a little better than it otherwise would be but its ultimately just a distilled version of the 39 Steps book with very few bells and whistles to really make it worth playing through outside of a lazy day.
Cute and whimsical little metroidvania game. A bit in the short and easy side though.
It was pretty fun, i expected something even more challenging but i would be lying if i said i didn't place a ton of checkpoints :P

It's definitely a must play for every video game / movie lover - the best from both worlds!

The main reason why I give this a 'meh' is that it costs actual money while the much better Portal Stories: Mel (and many other mods/community test chambers) are absolutely free. It's not BAD, it's just less fun and has way less content than Mel, and Nigel is no Wheatley or Virgil.
Great game and I do really like the simple yet fun style! U would if you're debating whether or not to get it I would definitely recommend to get it. It won't be a waste of your time and is loads of fun

An amazing game made by a genius and talented developer, Definitely one of the best games of 2020.

Your average Netflix sci fi thriller movie in game form. Interesting twist to play as the AI supporting the crew but there are times where the 'puzzle' is obscure af and don't get me started on navigating outside the station.
Tries its hardest to give an in depth plot but ends up not doing much at all. Screen flickering was annoying and the lack of clarity even more so.

It's not much of a game, more like an interactive movie, but I ended up getting much more involved in the story than I expected for the price. The voice acting is great, and the plot (while a little cliched) is plausibly done and revealed in little bits and pieces. While the game is short, there's a bit more depth with a secondary subplot that is not explicitly spelled out but will be super-obvious once you see it. (I won't say anything more to avoid spoiling it), and the environment of the game is really well-built. The way that tension is built up and pays off is something I think gamers who are attuned to this genre will appreciated, although be forewarned it's not a horror game at all. Building suspense without having some horrific ending actually works well with the subject matter. The puzzles and hidden elements are relatively easy to find if you know where they are, but I didn't feel insulted by the difficulty level in finding them.
Overall, play this if you want a narrative driven game in a well-built sandbox environment that doesn't completely subvert your expectations of the subject matter but instead relies on good writing and acting to get your attention. Bonus points for having a pretty interesting directors' commentary included in the game. Overall, highly recommended.
