I don't usually like horror or very dark games, but I decided to try this one after hearing so many praises to it. And mostly after so much hype, when you try it for yourself the game usually disappoints, but boy oh boy this game delivered.

Soma is not actually a horror game, more like a dark and gritty sci-fi with a disturbing atmosphere and plot but that darkness and an uneasy feeling is really strong and well made. I don't want to spoil anything, but this was one of the very few games who manages to pull that "what just happened down there, I have to know" feeling perfect. After the ending, I just sat and stared to scrolling end credits, but inside my mind was blowing up like fireworks on July 4th. Play this game, the writing is superb, voice acting is amazing, atmosphere is chilling and this game is awesome.

I've played RE2 back in 2000 and I couldn't finish it because it was a borrowed game, now that I've revisited without the nostalgia glasses I can safely say that this game is as classic as it comes, sure the control scheme is very clumsy and at times the dramatic camera angles don't help it at all but, when you get the hang of it, it just makes sense. The environment and the enemies have this amazing horror atmosphere and also I really liked every character. Because of the localization or the acting or even that the story is not that good, at times, it feels a little cliche but it's OK, speaking of characters my least favorite must be Leon, is kinda boring but in the other hand, Ada and Claire are pretty cool. Also if you're into JoJo's Bizarre Adventure expect to encounter a lot of references. Overall is an amazing experience, like having a puzzle that by the end it just builds itself naturally. The rhythm of the game is also incredible I believe I played around 6 hours per character and I wanted more, the way that the 2 stories interact feels way ahead of its time (I believe they wanted to do a similar thing with RE 6). If you're looking for a thrilling experience and you haven't played it yet, please check it out.

A heavily underrated game. I played this game with eight years old, and i really love it since then. It has tons of content and it's very beautiful and super relaxing game. Well at least until the ruffians arrive and try to give poissons candys to your pinatas. But it's really a exceptional game, i would like that Rare made another one, or at least a remaster for PC.

It's not game for everyone, as all you do in your game is basically watching Kemofure character playing stuff. That's your delight!

A great game, doesn't have the heart and the soul of the first one but is not by any means a bad game. Although I think this one is kind of unfair with the lesser enemies (attack animation resets almost instantly) and also you need to grind a lot or at least more than the original. The included DLC has the the most difficult battles, that said, they seemed they were designed to be completed by a party, otherwise it will take a long long time (I was at lvl 170+ and my damage was a joke compared to theirs), its important if you want to solo this game.

Pretty much everything about this game is incredible: music, gameplay, story, etc. Even the sidequests are very interesting per se. But for me the thing that stands out the most is that it knows that is a videogame and knows what kind of things can be done only in this medium (as much as I like Last of Us it feels that it wants so hard to be a movie), it blends perfectly gameplay and storytelling in such a brilliant way that at the end I was so moved on that I could not sleep. Is hard to think that this comes after such a flawed game like Drakgengard 3 (which I really like but it's just kind of bad) but I guess that Platinum have an important role in that huge leap. On the negative side, I felt the combat system too simple, feels more like a God of War than Devil May Cry and the difficulty spikes are just ridiculous. I played normal for the most part but the thing played almost itself but when switching to hard it was like x5 times harder, I mean there's a Very Hard difficulty which pretty much everything one hits you but I would really liked to have something in the middle of Normal - Hard. Anyway, a masterpiece.

The game itself has 2 modes: original mode and arranged mode, the arranged mode has different more "modern" music and is easier, mostly because the character moves faster. I played in original mode and while the 1st stages where kind of easy, soon the difficulty starts to get really punishing, this can be good or bad depending on the person. You can Save your file from the start of each stage which made things easier.
I don't think this is game is a masterpiece or the best JRPG of its generation, it has a lot of problems: the sidequests are just plain bad and uninteresting, there are a lot of tutorials and things to do that are very poorly explained and the menus and crafting are very clunky to said the least. That said, the combat is an absolute wonder, the soundtrack is also a work of art, the story is good but the characters are not in the same height and for that reason the story feels a little underwhelming. In the end I wanted more of that exquisite combat, but be aware that it can be very long (It took me 68 hours just to complete the main quest, without deep exploring or side questing, also there's a lot of grinding).

This game for the most part, is a very clunky experience, there's so much to learn and is poorly explained or not explained at all, it has with a few exceptions (Elma) an awful dub (be aware that you cannot change it to Japanese) and I'm certain that otherwise I would enjoyed it better. The pros are that this has a lot of content and things to do, sure the sidequests are for the most part boring but the combat system is so good that you can't have enough, also when you have your first Skell (mecha) you truly feel the power and is so damn good, the story starts kind of simple and uninteresting but it went to bad to truly incredible, it has very good plot twists that make you feel for this characters or the world, as for the music, in the original game the music was very good for the most part, in here I think 30% is awful 50% good and 20% is incredible. It's kind of hard to recommend but I think it's worth the time when you past that 5 to 6 hour tutorial.

I think this game gives a nice closure (and a real nice plot twist in the end) to a somehow good but sterile trilogy. The themes are interesting and the sidequests for the most part are interesting as well, I also love how they manage to merge story and gameplay, which leads to my first issue; the gameplay is very fun and the fact that you level up doing sidequests not killing enemies is a nice welcome, also, I really like how you feel the clock ticking, it gives you focus and a sense of urge, the thing is that by the 9th day I have finished every available quest and by that day things feel kinda repetitive. It feels very Majora's Mask inspired but it has its own twist, the idea of a society that has lived for 500 years and the implications it has is really cool.

Is not by any means a great game but is entertaining to say the least, this is my first approach to VR and i kinda have a motion sickness problem after 40 minutes of gameplay. Putting the VR thing aside is a very basic and linear FPS but for what is worth is OK.
«Game over at last!»
I only played Conquest before Revelation and as it turns out I think the later doesn't have the same punishing difficulty but has a decent amount of challenge, that being said, I don't think the story unfolds as interesting as Conquest but I really liked the "what if" aspect of it (MINOR SPOILER AHEAD), it's interesting how 2 characters that were enemies before, here they need to tag along or even marry. As far as gameplay goes the thrill is the same as always, in my case I always choose classic mode to feel real tension in battle and to spice things up. In the end is not an outstanding entry of FE series but still gives you a lot of entertainment.

This entry is like an apology for the first game, there's no more convoluted plot, no more 8 characters, no more linear game play, if you didn't like those things but nonetheless liked the first one then this game's for you or maybe not. In my case I didn't care much about the linear gameplay but I did care about the hard to follow story, don't take me wrong tho, the story is easy but what was so annoying is that it has te be so filled with names and systems and unnecessary complex stuff. Anyways, here the combat is solid and the premise is fun, I like a lot that is like a new take on the story of the first game but maintains a lot of the themes that make it interesting like fighting destiny or gods, but now you can time travel. The music for the most part is really good, you can chill out to a lot of songs and also you have this epic stuff in the boss battles. As for the characters, they're somewhat dull as in the past entry but have some really strong moments, specially in the end. Is not by any means a great entry or sequel but it entertains you from the beginning till the end.

Final Fight as a lot of Beat Em' Up games hasn't aged well, the controls, the difficulty are clear signs that this kind of title's main job was to dry your coins. Obviously you can get perfect scores, without getting hit or dying but I can only think on how many coins you needed to get there. If you accept all of this, this is a interesting game play experience if not that good.

This game introduced me to the excellent writing of Yoko Taro, at first I picked this because of the character design (which is amazing) ignoring that from the moment I see game play videos the combat seemed kind of dull and bad, to my surprise the combat was even worse, repetitive uninteresting combat and that can be said also for the side quests, also is note worthy that the English dub is terrible but you have the option of buying a pack with Japanese voices (which I strongly recommend if you have the extra bucks). Even tho' it has everything to let this game go, I just couldn't it has a very interesting story to tell and incredible well written characters, the soundtrack is just pretty much amazing. Be wary that you need to do a **** thing to get access to the real final boss (get every weapon and upgrade it to the max), which isn't hard but you need a lot of mindless repetitive grinding, and talking about hardness this game after 7 hours or so of trying the to beat the final boss I just couldn't and I have to quit, to this date is the only boss that I have to give up, a lot of people says that Is a **** boss but even after a I couldn't beat it I disagree, it's just brilliant but incredible hard nevertheless. Anyway I can't recommend this game to everyone because has a lot of bad design choices and maybe is a bad game, but if you're interested in kinda philosophical stories with anime characters and lewd design, maybe this can be for you.

I like that Conquest doesn't f*ck around, from beginning to end it offers you a thrilling and challenging experience where a simple bad choice can lead you to say goodbye to your favorite unite or waifu if your'e in that kind of thing or even restart your game from zero. The music if not amazing is really good and as any FE game it has a ton of characters that are interesting for the most part, the game play is brutal and you can't grind so you better choose a balanced team and stick with them till the end or be like me and use everyone and suffer from that. The thing is that the story and that was my only issue also with FE Awakening, at least for me doesn't match the heights of the game play or the characters it has, it feels so generic that you see everything coming from miles away, also the English dub is not that bad because there are a lot of lines but is kinda annoying and you can't switch it to Japanese. In the end Conquest offers a pretty solid game play and solid experience that puts you in the shoes of an strategist, if only the story was at least a little more original and interesting this game could be a masterpiece.

MHW feels like an improvement and a downgrade for several reasons, it has improved in a lot of annoying things that keeps things sped up, but also, feels like they did the opposite in order to get things friendly for newcomers. The game play is better than ever, things go fast and the action is non stop, the world and the monsters look amazing, my issue is that the classic monsters behave and attack identically as in previous games and doesn't feel that they have a better AI and that feels like a let down, as for the world, when this game was unveiled, they promise a very unique and organic environment in which the player or the monster will have the advantage depending on its usage, but I think this mechanic feels underdeveloped or artificial. That aside, I enjoyed my time (which was a lot) in MHW and will come back when there are a lot of updates, as for veterans it will be amazing to see monsters like never before and for newcomers is the most friendly introduction to the series yet.

I'm not good at RTS games, but I love George Kamitani's work and in the end GrimGrimoire delivered a thrilling strategy experience and a nice and interesting story (I see that a lot of people are saying that this is a ripoff of Harry Potter for the most mundane things tho' Kamitani is well known to took inspiration from western media such as Disney, D&D, etc.). This game looks beautiful, the character design and background design in the cutscenes is gorgeous, the music is good and the game play at least for a noob like me is good, but, my biggest issue is the variety of stages, every battle feels almost identical and kinda repetitive because the stages look almost similar, I mean there are important differences on their structure but nothing too dramatic to fool your mind, imagine that you play a fighting game and you only play in the same stage with the same background, sure every fight will be different but then again it feels tired, that aside what keeps me going was the story, it has a very interesting twist and is almost like a character study. I don't recommend this game to everyone and if you're like me you will feel overwhelmed by the RTS game play, but if you're a fan of Vanillaware or Kamitani give it a shot, it will not disappoint.

I played HL2 on a PS3 so I don't know if there's a big difference between the XBOX one so a big apology. Back to the game, I played it on a console a lot of years after its original release on PC but I can say that at least everything is said about HL2 is true, the game play, the music, the combat, the characters, the story, everything is in the right place, it works as an action FPS, as a survival horror or even as a puzzle game, the thing is that when you reach the end you don't notice and then the thing is over, I don't know if it's a masterpiece but is sure an amazing game, if you hadn't played you sure are missing something really good.

Episode One is a very good follow up of an amazing game, it maintains its core gameplay and expands it to a more complex level, the only thing is that is that is very short (like two hours or so) but if you're like me and you're playing this on 2018 you have a little more HL2 waiting for you. My favorite part and maybe in the whole series is when you're stuck in the dark and the thing goes like full survival horror, just sublime.
