Garry’s Mod is a fun time killer if you know how to entertain yourself. Everything that happens here depends on your imagination only. I like different Half-Life mods, btw, advise you to try The Nyan Cat Gun. I think, the best way to spend time in Garry’s Mod is to pick up a friend and play Hide and Seek with them. Or find somebody on servers. It’s much funnier than hanging around alone.
Unfortunately, this game has much more problems than I’d expected. It looks and sounds amazing, some maps and heroes are totally awesome but here the problems begin. The game has a lot of content that is completely unnecessary like some weapons and abilities that you don’t use because they are helpless. Some maps are horrible, when I see them I just want to exit the game. No voice chat for some reason, no browsing for certain maps, empty lobbies and endless grind. Grind for everything, even completely useless items. And, as the icing on the cake, the game lags. A lot.
The new God of War is an amazing new take on the series. And while some of the fans might miss the old slasher gameplay mechanics with tons of enemies and huge monsters to slay, the new GoW manages to prove that the shift to this new camera and limited set of weapons was a right thing to do.

From the world that feels huge (like, physically huge), zero-cuts story and a great "father and son" dynamic, to the amazing new weapon that can be played in any imaginable way to fit your playstyle - the new GoW is a must-play if you ask me.

And one final note - this is a rare game that leaves so much content to be explored after beating the main story, that you want to come back again and again. If you go only through the main plot - you'll only see ~60% of the game. You won't even visit some of the "biomes" which is a pretty bold move, and I respect the developers for doing that.
You had one job - to make a game with good combat. But it’s very frustrating here. Enemies attack all at once, the blocking mechanics is horrible and boss fights are awful. Bosses here can make you a lot of damage while not being injured at all even with multiple attacks. I guess, Star Wars in the title sells this game but it’s my great disappointment.
«Disappointment of the year»
«Waste of time»
Disappointed. The idea sounds fun but the realization is very poor. All factions are the same, the AI is dull, the balance is broken. Seems very unrealistic when a simple fighter kills a special unit with two shots. This game didn’t add anything to Age of Empires, except the skins, and just made a worse version of it.
This game is nostalgic as hell. Sometimes such old games seems to be good but years after cone out of time. Rogue Squadron is still great. I played it on Nintendo 64 and now play it on PC. Everything awesome about the game is still here: a strong story, enjoyable gameplay, interesting missions and so on. If you want a good nostalgic experience, spend some money on this title.
If you like space RTS, you should try this one. While it’s based on Star Wars, the game supports mods, so the theme can be changed if you want. I like the community of the game - small but very nice and supportive. Well, it’s hard to explain why this game is so good, so better try it.
The PC version is awful. They’d better leave this game there it was and didn’t ruin a good title. The controls are horrible, the game lags and spoil all good memories I have about this game since Nintendo 64 times.
This is Age of Empires in the Star Wars setting and this concept works great. Not so many factions to choose from but still good. Maybe today it’s a little aged and years ago the game felt better but I still think it was a good try and a fresh idea within the Star Wars game universe.
It’s actually a good Star Wars game. It provides an interesting story with great usage of the Force set in an amazing environment. The gameplay doesn’t feel repetitive ‘cause there are a lot of fighting techniques and different combat mechanics. I also didn’t have many problems with running the game so I don’t share all the complaints about it. The game is short but fun and I can definitely recommend it for Star Wars fans.
The best game if you want to understand problems and the power of large people!
The game is based on a bad Star Wars movie but it’s the only problem of the game. All the rest is totally awesome. One of the best racing simulators I’ve ever played. I’m glad that it’s now playable on modern computers, while I can enjoy it on my vintage console too.
If you didn’t see the movie, watch it at first. I can guarantee that if you like Star Wars movies, you’ll like the game. It’s made with typical LEGO humor, a lot of references and other great stuff. So this game is lots of fun, you won’t be disappointed.
I can’t say this game aged well. I appreciate that it was made during the classic LucasArt period but today this game is history, not a playable and enjoyable title. The main problem is with uncomfortable controls (press X to jump, for example) and inability to implement GPU support on Windows 10. So I think, two decades ago this game was really great but today we have much more better titles to play. If you’re curious though, buy it on sale and try.
The single campaign in this game is done just in the way it must be. I’ve completed the game on both normal and hard difficulty, and I can say that once you understand what weapon to use and get used to the controls, the games becomes easier. I enjoyed every second of playing it. The multiplayer here is not such great but Republic Commando stays the best Star Wars shooter to play solo.
The dumb AI ruins the game. If your AI teammates die, you have less respawns, and they try to die as soon as possible! You can’t enjoy the game when you constantly think about protecting your team that doesn’t help you. If you are lucky to complete almost the entire mission without deaths, one explosion can make you start it over. No fun, really.
This game is just not finished. The beginning is very promising but the further you go the less sense makes the story. Closer to the end the plot forgets about most characters, rushes through final bosses and that’s all. I guess, the developers didn’t know how to end the game so decided not to finish it at all. So, as an unfinished project, this game doesn’t deserves its money. Trust me, you’ll miss a lot of content and will be disappointed with the finale.
I love arcade racing games because of this title. There are some games based on Episode I and this one is the best of them. I’m happy it was released for PC too ‘cause I didn’t have consoles in my childhood. Again, one of the best retro games ever.
There are better LEGO games. I don’t understand why they made a game based only on the 7th part of the franchise instead of including all six films. Anyway, the game is slow, repetitive and didn’t give me achievements for some actions I’d surely completed. If you want to play it very hard, buy it on sale.
The game has few advantages though. There are a lot of characters here and it runs smooth. Don’t know if this is enough for you to buy the game on full price.
Some people just don’t understand that games released 20 years ago can have some problems. So yes, Dark Forces II acquires additional treatment to work, you need mods but they are already done, so you can find them on Internet, on Steam, if you want to play the game. As for me, it’s one of my favorite games. Here you can finally choose what force powers you need and you’ll be rewarded for finding secrets on levels. I think, it’s great. And the fact that 20 years after people still modify the game and play it proves it the best.
