Great game. Lots of potential. Really polished for EA.
Give it a try and support the devs. They need our support.

Never been more happy to cry.
Very good game
Truly enjoyable RPG with a great atmosphere due to its charming Disney worlds with all these well known Disney and Final Fantasy characters, underlined by an exceptional soundtrack.
Even though this game is nearly 20 years old and the controls can at times feel a bit clunky, I absolutely recommend playing this game, especially since its multiple ports to newer consoles makes it so accessible.
Every RPG and Disney fan definitely gets their money's worth.

Indie horror video games is the new punk rock. Learn some unity and get weird and charge people a buck and pray that Whang plays it on a stream. Worst case scenario, you can lie on your resume about your coding experience. Problem is you get some seriously self-important video essay style indies every now and then that force you to turn off the game and write about it on the internet. Receiver had some annoying voice acting and "this is really good writing, I'm sure people will be really into this" pretension but this one... Ugh, stick with Puppet Combo.

I really hoped I would like this game. I've wanted to play it ever since it was released on PS3 and now it was finally possible for me. Maybe my expectations were too high, but I did not really enjoy the game.
The story starts ok, but has too many characters to play which makes it a bit too long in my opinion. Too long probably, because the gameplay is limited and repetitive. The approach is kinda cinematic, but it is sometimes hard to tell what the character is going to do. The fact that your ability to successfully finish action scenes and making choices in general have an impact on the outcome is great. The choices and the actions just start getting obvious after some time.
The graphics are dated. Character animations are far from natural, especially when it comes to facial expressions. But that didn't bother me too much. It was the mediocre, sometimes even bad voice acting that kept me from enjoying the character interactions. It's difficult to get moved by the story when the acting and the graphics can't manage to convince you.

The boss fight is mediocre. That's it. This is where all negative feedback ends. Great mind boggling story, and why not? It always has to be whenever time travel is involved. Remedy games leave their Max Payne footprint everywhere, such was the case in this game. The best thing about it was how your in-game decisions can not only change components of the story, but also in the Movie Episodes which run after every Act. Protagonist slowly gets more and more powerful, but so does the game challenges (play on Hard). Great graphics, interesting storyline, awesome effects, but average shooter experience. I wish some driving was also involved as opposed to just running.

Realmente no se puede hacer una review, ya que no es el juego completo.
Pero de lo poco que hemos visto; tengo muy altas expectativas. Y me ha encantado hasta ahora.

It's a damn shame that Immortals: Fenyx Rising didn't get the attention it deserved. Initially it may seems like an obvious riff on Nintendo's Breath of the Wild, but after some time with the game it really shines with its own unique take on the open-world sandbox style, wrapped in a witty narrative centered around Greek Mythos.
The premise is strikingly similar to Breath of the Wild. You've got a large world with four main regions which can be tackled in any order you choose. You can climb anything, you have stamina, health, a bow, armor and horses, you receive "God powers" to solve puzzles with and use in combat, and there are "Vaults of Tartarus" with self-contained mini-dungeons. In my opinion, all of these things are executed with more finesse than Breath of the Wild, with tons of quality of life improvements.
The combat is more akin to the likes of God of War, Bayonetta, and Darksiders. It flows extremely well and integrates Fenyx's God Powers seamlessly. Once you have access to your full kit, combat is flashy and satisfying in ways I haven't experienced since Darksiders.
The open world is dense and full of content. The environmental puzzles are smart, with alternate solutions depending on what skills you've chosen to acquire. They have meaningful rewards and I never felt like I wasted my time solving a puzzle. Dungeon design is mostly great, with new mechanics being introduced in each major dungeon.
The presentation is top notch. The story, while relatively straightforward, is full of character. Zeus and Prometheus narrate your adventures and provide comedic relief. Sometimes I wish it had taken itself a bit more seriously, but the tone hardened for the final acts. Animations and voice acting really pull together the experience in a way I hadn't expected. The world is full of bits of Greek Mythos, with secrets and stories in every corner of the map. I was initially dissatisfied with the ending, but looking back on it now I don't have any particular complaints.
If you were a fan of Breath of the Wild, or maybe found its combat and dungeon design lacking, Immortals: Fenyx Rising scratches the same itch. The developers have shown enormous support, updating the game, adding daily challenges, weekly dungeons, and other event quests.

I'll just be sincere here, the game is fantastic. But it feels unfinished.
It has many good points. I could stay the whole day talking about it, but I'll keep to what I enjoyed most/what I saw in the first runs. The city is gigantic and mesmerizing like a lamp for insects. Lots of hidden things for you to look for. The campaign has a lot of cool and memorable characters like Judy, Panam, Johnny himself, they are very well built and their side quests I ended up liking more than the main one. The game universe itself is very large and with this game we are seeing only a fraction of it. You have your own apartment, gun stash, cell phone to talk to. You can totally modify yourself by following perk builds and body modifications for agi / int / str and that I found very cool. I suffered a lot to get the hang of it and choose the right points. Money comes reasonably easy to buy the best things. You can buy many different cars, and it's really nice to be inside them and see it all modeled.
But yeah, the game feels unfinished. And it is. The whole southern part of the map looks like it has nothing. Lots of features missing, like metro for example, a decent AI system. There was a lack of a system to improve the look (clothes, change the appearance of the character, arms, legs, etc.), the same with vehicles and guns, even your own apartment. Those are details that really make a difference and make the gameplay a unique experience, and I hope they add those in the future (if not, please modders hear my plea). Many things are useless or have little impact such as the reward system for example. The decisions in the dialogues do not affect the game as much as I expected. The quests have some very well elaborated and polished while others feels just whatever. Even the Braindance, they sold it so much on their previews and you see so little in the game.
Even with all that, I feel in love with the game. The bugs didn't really bother me, every game has it. It just feels unfinished. But I find it promising. CD sold a lot and it was not possible to do everything they wanted, or everything they promised, in that sense it disappointed me a little, but it didn't irritate me, it doesn't detract from what the game is. The problem is that they themselves promised a lot, and did not deliver due to time. But hey, CD is giving feedback, apologizing and being committed to improve, so let's wait and see the improvments on the way.
TL;DR: Fantastic game, but it is unfinished. If you believe this is a futuristic three letter game, stick to the old.

i got the platinum for this less than 2 weeks after I got it (almost 2 years ago) and unfortunately i still play it.
i tend to play a lot of addictive shit but there's nothing like this one, this is RIDICULOUSLY addictive once you get decent at drifting... Activision fucked up big time with the $$ potential here, my addiction to this game became so bad i literally emailed Beenox support saying i had developed a chemical dependency to this game and that i was 10000% willing to buy overpriced DLC tracks for it, the sentiment still stands.
the feeling you get when you start to flawlessly destroy a track is ethereal, like surfing on heroin.
it's an absolute travesty this game never got a 60fps patch OR a pc release OR a competent online component OR custom cups, but even with the somewhat pathetic, anemic development, once you understand its mechanics this game is easily an 11/10.

To be honest, I was not impressed. I don't understand what all the fuss is about. The game is okay to play once =(

Horizon Zero Dawn is a solid experience. The world created is one of a kind, and the story gets pretty interesting in the second half of the game. The gameplay is truely unique, and the graphics is very lovely.
Now to the downsides. The face animation makes it pretty difficult to get sympathetic with the heroes, although it gets much better in the Frozen wilds. The soundtrack is ordinary, nothing to add to that.
In conclusion, it is a solid game, and I can definately reccomend it if you can endure face animations and the difficulty =)
