There are a lot of things going for this game for sure, and a few going against it. The best part of the game is the economy-based RPG idea. While it definitely, doesn't live up to its true potential, it feels awesome to go on quests so that the blacksmith can make better items. The story is alright, and the RPG Maker battle mechanics are solid. Where the game really lacks is the mining mechanic. For something that is so heavily depended on in the game, its just honestly BORING and a drag. Hopefully in the final product this will be more engaging
For what it is, it's pretty good. Hard to turn down when it's on sale for a couple cents. Had a lot of trouble with connecting devices and pictures not being sent in correctly. Might as well grab a real JackBox game instead of this. Had a couple great times with friends though.
This is a game that is hard for me to pinpoint what I didn't like. The music is legendary and screams adventure, the art is realized, the graphics are pretty, the characters are lovable, and the combat is fine. I think what really soured my experience was the large amount of grinding for the amount of story there was. I enjoyed going about the episodic adventures of the hero and his gang, but I felt as if the game developers gave too much freedom in regards to progression. Other than boss fights, I didn't feel motivated to go through the lengthy cutscenes and combat to level up. This made boss fights feel like an insurmountable villain which I then had to go back and grind enemies for a couple hours. Maybe this is me being bad at the game, but there didn't feel like there was an incentive to fight when going about the dungeons. Speaking of which, the dungeons were also lack luster. Zero puzzle solving and just aimless wandering until I found the slightly bigger room at the end. Despite presenting itself as a standard JRPG, there's a lot different with this game; especially in the story. Near the end, I felt genuine emotion towards a lot of the characters. In the end, although the story, music, and atmosphere were nice and enjoyable, the unnecessary grind and difficulty spikes made this game a chore and I can't recommend this game while knowing there are many others that to this genres so much better.
Another game that I played with my dad first on Game Boy - one of the first I’d ever played. He used to always play before he went to bed, and I’d play sometimes even if I didn’t understand the point of it (or was very good at it) until I was a little older. Definitely a classic even if these types of games weren’t really my thing.
I was never much of a fan of fighting games, but SoulCalibur was fun.
Liked this game so much that I literally played it 3 times: on the PlayStation, Xbox, and PC
Not fun.
That's what the predominant feeling will be after a few hours of a game that is unbalanced, unfair, time consuming, save-scum reliant and in the end not fun, which is why we all play games for.
Make the mistake to choose one of the first available sidequests without having your main characters already grinded up and you will get stuck on a new type of enemy who can wipe your entire group in a few turns and that on the easy difficulty.
Play aggressively and you get picked up from afar and ganked. Play defensively and the enemies will respawn with exponential faster rates. Make small errors at the beginning and you pay the price hours later in the campaign.
Great soundtrack and visuals cannot save the frustrating gameplay, which should still be king, even in this years of advanced visual accomplishment in the videogame industry.

This was the first game I played for the Switch - and one of my favorite Zelda games. More open world than any previous Zelda game. My one complaint were the shrines...I feel like quantity overtook quality here, and I would have preferred less, more in-depth and differentiated temples. All in all though, great game, cool that you could (if you were good enough) literally start and complete the game immediately if you so choose.
Fantastic, haunting story. Like all of Naughty Dog's games - this almost played out like a movie. Can't wait to finally play TLOU 2 (when I have time)

205 hours later, finally beat it! Played through both Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine as well as what had to be every side quest in the base storyline. The main story was great, but I have to agree with what a lot of people thought, which was that the Blood and Wine expansion was just as good if not better than the main story. Toussaint and the many additions (grandmaster armor, mutagens, Corvo Bianco, etc.) all played into a fantastic ending to the Witcher 3. On my playthrough, I think I got the best ending: saving Syanna, killing Dettlaff, and despite Regis being exiled, Geralt and him part amicably which I liked. The ending was a nice cap to the main story. Hearts of Stone was good as well - Ogeird was a character, and Gaunter O’Grimm certainly made things interesting. Enjoyed all the different areas, Skellige and Toussaint being my favorite (except for the fact that so many points of interest in Skellige were in the water and required a boat). There were certainly parts towards the end where I was tired of continuing to play...but I’m glad I finished it. One of the best games I’ve played, and certainly managed to keep my attention for many, many hours.

Outstanding gameplay and outstanding story. Glad that I finally got to play the Witcher 3 on the Switch. Others complained about the graphics, but honestly, what do you expect? If you want the game to look its best, play it on a PC. No argument can be made against having the Witcher 3 on a portable console that you can literally play anywhere.

Beyond that - the main story was great, I loved the consequences of your decisions and how they played out at the battle of Kaer Morhen - there were definitely a few things I wish I could have gone back and changed - mainly saving Keira Metz. Side quests were pretty standard - ranging from the mundane to challenging, particularly some of the monster hunting early on in the game. Collecting the various witcher armor sets provided another opportunity for game completion, and there were what felt like a million different points of interest to checkout. Most areas were fine, but good god they took forever in Skellige (particularly when your boat only lasted for a handful of them after harpies savaged your boat so much it sank).
I'm glad this version bundled both DLCs - Hearts of Stone was a pretty good addition, but Blood and Wine honestly felt like another smaller Witcher game in itself. Toussaint was by far my favorite area of the game - gorgeous backdrops and filled with a host of interesting quests, and people.
This was truly an exceptional game, and if Cyberpunk 2077 is anything like Witcher 3, it will go down as another classic RPG from CD Projekt Red.

As always, Battlefield delivers on the gigantic matches with a scope that really makes you feel like you're part of a war. Honestly, I had really stopped playing the single player for CoD and Battlefield but I was actually interested in playing this one out - and they did a great job keeping it entertaining and haunting as they told the stories of multiple people that were dragged into WW1
Monster Seeking Monster and Fibbage 3 are the highlights of this pack. Survive the Internet isn't bad either, but Bracketeering and Civic Doodle we didn't play a whole lot.
My only complaint with Monster Seeking Monster is it wasn't more anonymous...you know whose name is whose, it would've been much better if you were unsure of which person you were playing with was which monster.

Frozen Wilds DLC added some more content to HZD, which was certainly welcome. Nothing crazy, but additional machines to hunt as well as the additional challenges it provided were entertaining.
Not going to lie...had this game sitting around for a long time before I actually picked it up to play it. Once I started though...I was pretty hooked. First of all, the story was fantastic, and I won't ruin some of the plot twists but the ending was sufficiently satisfying that I can't wait for the second one.
As far as gameplay goes, combat was extremely fun - different than most games that release now, this wasn't just a shooter. Using the bow and spear required what felt like more precision, and added some layers to the combat that isn't there when you're just aiming and shooting. The system of "collecting" different machines, as well as their evolutions, added some more to do around the main story - and it didn't feel like busy work like these sorts of quests often can.

Solid offering for NHL. The addition of the 3-on-3 circuit was a huge plus, and adding in the ECHL teams was a cool touch.

Not the best party pack from Jackbox, they are always worth buying to try though. Would recommend if it went on sale or as part of a bundle.
Patently Stupid or Split the Room were probably the most fun, Mad Verse City was a bit hit or miss, and another version of You Don't Know Jack added some more straight-up trivia. Zeeple Dome was pretty terrible imho.

5/10 - I've been excited to play this because I LOVE 3D Land and basically all linear Mario platformers. While this game takes a lot from 3D Land that is good, such as some enemy types and level gimmicks, i feel like it makes very odd decisions that kind of make half the levels a chore to get through. The music is fine.
Lots of go here to activate this and then walk back levels, lots of lava insta-death levels where they give you hit points that are useless. And the environments are not as lively or fun to explore as 3D Land levels. It's a really cute game and can keep ur Mario thirst satisfied for a while but it didn't do much for me. Probably works better as a mobile game.
I did not feel the need to go back to unlock the special world, which is odd for me since I do that for most platformers.

Really fun obviously inspired by several older Atari games
Honestly, an extremely solid platformer, one that would easily pass for an early 90s game
