Company of Heroes is an RTS game set during the WWII, featuring an extensive single-player campaign and various multiplayer modes. One of the fundamental differences from other strategies of the time is the dynamic environment and complete destruction of almost any object on the map.
The game starts with the invasion of Normandy by the Allied forces and leads through Europe. The almost cinematic experience of every battle allows players to immerse in the darkest hours of humankind fully. The warfare itself in the game is exceptionally refined, featuring cover systems and different damage types, making players plan their movements, know their enemies and know themselves. However, not every battle is won by plans, and thus, reaction to the surroundings also plays a significant role.
Company of Heroes successfully reimagined how WWII RTS should look like and play like, with its different squad compositions, various routes to be taken, and new challenges in the form of multiplayer battles with players who will try to outcompete you, outplay you and overrun your forces.

Company of Heroes reviews and comments

Company of Heroes is in a Class of itself. I have been The owner of the Basic Game since the Release, have spent all both Add-ons and since Porting on Steam again over 300h ingame. No other Game in the RTS segment combines Planning, Reaction and Chance like this Milestone of Game history. Even graphically, CoH doesn't have to hide, even when it's got into the Days. The modder scene is still active and I am of the Opinion: In the Area of WWII-RTS, there is currently no better Title. The graphical new edition Of CoH2 around worlds cannot keep up.

I bought this game when it released in September 2006 followed by its extensions! I started more than 1000h of game before seeing the game migrated on steam servers in 2013. Since its arrival on steam the game has continued to evolve. For example, the addition of the workshop to facilitate the exchange of MAP and the attractiveness for this game never left me. I play it regularly and cumule again + 1000h on steam. Adding the two counters I have more than 2000h has my asset on CoH and it is not CoH 2 that will change the give. For those who do not yet it is regularly in promo on steam. Go! You won't regret it. CoH for ever:-)

THE CoH 1 series is awesome. I play since end 2009 to all game modes but especially in PanzerKrieg (tank fights) this mode is super fun when we understood how to play. Since this game is part of steam it has changed to level ranks, stats it has become ilogic. Before, from the time of relic online it was easier to pass LVL 10 to 15 than 16 to 20 MTN it is the reverse. The game being LVL 1 to 20. There were so many players and parties in the game room that we were spoilt for choice. I was LVL 19 in PanzerKrieg but today we lose his rank when we play not for a few days what is disgusting. This game is on steam since May 12th, 2012, if I should add all my game hours since 2009, I should be at about more than 3000h

Hey Friends of the well-groomed Fun at playing! For all those who are now only getting into the right Game age, I would like to warmly recommend this Game despite its Year of construction. Because COH I call the best Strategy game ever! All the strategy Games that follow should get maximum Bonds from this Game. Graphically no longer quite up to date, but in terms Of Flow, Dynamics and tactical Possibilities simply ingeniously balanced. Exciting, detailed, magnificently staged. In Multiplayer today still a Hammer-the Successor is a bad Joke in terms of AI and everything else. At this Point, I would like to remind you of the chief developer, Brian R. Wood, who died far too soon in an Accident. Much too Bad It caught him. I am sure that under his Hand, THE Successor COH2 would not have been so hunched. https://kotaku.com/company-of-heroes-developer-killed-in-car-accident-563079 RIP Brian So enough of the sad Words, Enjoys Company of Heroes and the DLCs! Your Survivalstevie!
