Games for Linux

Linux is a free and open-source software operating system. The main component of distribution is the Linux kernel, an operating system released in 1991. Linux is the successor of Unix implemented in 1969. It was initially developed for personal computers based on the Intel x86 architecture. Linux is the leading operating system on servers and Android OS smartphones due to its free and open-source software. This is the only platform like that, but Linux is considered to be the successful one. Indie, shooters and action games, both one- and multiplayer, are particularly prevalent among Linux users. These are, for example, Team Fortress, Minecraft, and Counter-Strike. Along with kernels, Linux uses networking, access to the peripherals, and file systems. As for desktops, the default mode is usually a graphical user interface. There are also Linux User Groups who hold meetings and provide free demonstrations, training, and technical support.
