When I heard of Cozy Grove, I knew I had to pre-order it. The casualness of it really drew me in and didn't disappoint. It's not groundbreaking, but it's a nice relaxing game that doesn't suck too much time out of your day. The daily goals have a limit after which there isn't much to do but wait for tomorrow, so that's a relief. Gameplay is a mix of find-the-object and point-and-click narrative. There's new content to unlock as you slowly complete goals.
Although the environment is beautifully created with random forest messiness, I can't say I enjoy the constantly changing decor. It turns me off from wanting to decorate and any received furniture feels like clutter. Item placement is also very limited. The controls can be a bit tiresome too, as I often get "stuck" between objects or interact with a placed item instead of talking to the character.

I was worried that I wouldn't like this game when I first booted it up; the idea of turn based combat seemed very silly to me and I was expecting to drop it after around 5-6 hours, but instead I got addicted to this game and pumped in 250+ hours into it.
Plot: It's nothing groundbreaking but I found it to be very interesting and I was invested from beginning to end. As the Persona game closest to a typical slice-of-life anime, it was very entertaining to see that kind of genre mixed in with a murder mystery and supernatural elements. It does get exposition heavy, especially during December, but nowhere near Persona 5's exposition dump.
Characters: I might be biased since this was my first Persona game, but to me, the P4 cast is by far the best cast in the entire series, even better than P3 and P5's cast. The characters are absolutely hilarious and they genuinely feel like friends you'd have in real life, and each character has a realistic struggle that everyone can empathize with, whether it's Yosuke's loneliness and desire to be a somebody, Yukiko's fears of the future and the constant pressure she has to deal with, Kanji's insecurity and being discriminated against by everyone including figures of authority, Naoto's struggle against gender bias, etc. Nanako and Ryotaro are also amazing characters and the main (not true) villain is the best in the series as well. The Social Links are mostly great except for the Fox's, which is not only a chore but the storyline is boring as well.
Gameplay: For a game as old as this, I think the gameplay is pretty good. It might not be as stylish or fun as Persona 5's combat but at least it's not as archaic and boring as Persona 3's. Dungeons are all creative and it's a definite improvement over Tartarus from P3. This game however, is pretty unforgiving with time, and it's extremely difficult to max out every Social Link in the game unless you are following a guide that details what exactly you need to do every day but where's the fun in that? Too many Social Links are during the day, and I think it would've been better if a lot of them took place at night instead, and rainy days are also a huge bummer on NG+ because you can't do anything unless The Sun or The Hermit's Social Link is active. The rewards for max Social Links outside of the main cast are pretty underwhelming; many of the Ultimate Personas of an Arcana are totally useless; for example Daisoujou is better than Kohryu for the Hierophant Arcana, Alice is better than Mahakala for the Death Arcana, and Yoshitsune is better Shiva for the Tower Arcana. Overall, the combat is probably the weakest part of the game but it's in no way bad.
Soundtrack: P4 has one of the best OSTs in any video game. There is not a single track that I dislike, and the dungeon themes, especially Naoto, the Culprit's, and Marie's are all amazing. If it wasn't for Doom Eternal's OST I would've voted this game for best soundtrack in the Steam Awards without question.
In short, one of the greatest JRPGs ever made and one of the greatest games ever made. I would wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone.

Very short, a lack of characterization for several main characters (including Crank!) but it’s looks great and the weapons/action are fun.
The biggest disappointment in gaming history without a doubt. I am truly baffled how anyone could ever defend this steaming pile of crap. Shallow story, shallow characters, more bugs than Fallout 76, braindead AI, horrendous game designs, messy UI, godawful loot system, and worst of all, the lies. CDPR took all the good will I had towards them with The Witcher 3 and they destroyed all of that in less than 2 days worth of playtime. I was in denial at first, firmly believing it to be a 7/10 with bugs, but at this point, and especially after the Crowbcat video, I cannot possibly defend this game. The lies again, are the biggest insult this game has to offer. I feel truly sorry for the devs who did their best but had to give in to the greedy and incompetent higher ups at CDPR. I don't care if all the bugs are fixed in the future, I am never going back to this game. This has left a bad taste in my mouth that will never go away and I doubt I will ever support CDPR again.

Every new AC released is a big and beautiful world, but everything else drops down so much. I enjoyed a lot the previous AC Origins and Odissey (even though you can look at the game as a 40+h filler for a 5m really interesting lore) and I gotta say I was pretty hyped for this one and boy, such a let down. What a bad polished game. Half baked story, no character conveys sympathy or stays as worth of being remembered. Fighting the zealots are beyond broken, everything about them is terrible. Not to mention the audio echoes in everything that, as far as I've searched, will not be fixed.
I'm usually not upset by bugs, but this.... yeah, totally a waste of time.

The Forgotten Forest has nothing but flaws. Right from the beginning of the story, where our heroine is in a forest so dark that you can't even know where to go, through the haunted mansion with its ordinary jump scare scenes, and ending with automatic deaths as boring as it is enraging. The only thing I thought was cool was the horror story, which I can't tell without revealing too much, but it became really bad after a while. So I gave up on the scene where our heroine falls into a well and has to get out to find her brother. I was fed up with not being able to avoid the monster and dying all the time! Not recommended, even though the price is low.
This game, in 5 episodes, half visual novel and half point-and-click, has the merit of being very original. First of all, its scenario skillfully mixes mystery, horror, and a bit of steampunk. Then, his graphics have a rather unique style, but that won't please everyone. Finally, his characters are really endearing. At first, the game had some serious bugs, but they had been fixed. Recommended.
Never having been a big fan of fighting games (I must say I'm pretty bad at them!), I've nevertheless got hooked on Skullgirls. As much with its sublime soundtrack, its charismatic characters, including those in DLC, and its very stylish graphics. It's thanks to this game, and to Commander Keen, that I have a Steam account, that's to say! I recommend it without hesitation.
A classic from my childhood. A series of platform games, with colorful graphics and solid gameplay. The "complete pack" got the Vorticons Trilogy (Keen 1 to 3) and Goodbye Galaxy (Keen 4 and 5).
The story of these games is simple: a young 8-year-old genius, Billy Blaze, codenamed Commander Keen, must protect Earth from any extraterrestrial threat.
In Keen 1, he was exploring the planet Mars when parts of his spaceship were stolen by aliens, the Vorticons. He has to get them back.
In Keen 2, the Vorticons want to destroy Earth. It's up to Billy/Keen to intervene.
In Keen 3, he travels to the Vorticon Homeworld to stop them once and for all!
In Keen 4, Billy/Keen goes to the planet Gnosticus IV, where he must save the Oracles, members of the High Council of Gnosticus IV, who have been kidnapped by the mysterious Shikadis.
In Keen 5, Billy/Keen must confront the Shikadis, while destroying the Omeganatic, a weapon that the Shikadis built to destroy the Milky Way.
For the curious, in Keen 6, Billy's babysitter, Molly, has been abducted by aliens and he must rescue her.
I recommend these games for those who knew them in their youth as well as for newcomers.
Loren the Amazon Princess is an excellent Visual Novel/RPG, with several variations for its ending + the option to choose a hero (Saren) or a heroine (Elenor) + optional romances + well-balanced RPG combat. Recommended.
I discovered this little rpg by chance, with Breath of Death VII, and I didn't regret my purchase. Great retro graphics, very good music, a good fighting system, a lot of humor and a story I loved...
A little point-and-click, with a good dose of anguish, 4 ends to get + achievements, and a story inspired by a true legend, the "cabeça de cuia". Its only flaw is that it's short, but on sale, it is to be taken without hesitation.
A unique VN. Science-fiction, with graphics that are not too Japanese, and with a particular game mechanic. Rather than choosing actions or dialogues to get the endings, you have to read (or not) the thoughts of different characters. I loved this concept. The characters are also very endearing and there is romance, but it's not mandatory. You can do a game without forming a couple. Recommended.
An excellent RPG, with endearing characters, a dark universe, choices, consequences and several endings. Short lifespan (it took me 4 hours to complete it) but having a good playability with the other endings.
Outrage is designed by the same devs as City of Chains and I love it. It's not a "pure" RPG, but dungeons to explore, while accomplishing different missions to advance the scenario. The graphics style is the same as City of Chains and the music is still good. On the other hand, a game can be completed in 1 hour, but there are 3 endings to get and 3 game play are needed to get them all.
An interactive story with Twine that I've liked a lot. An exploration of dungeons with a fight (or two) and several ways to die.
However, as it was designed with Twine, there's no possibility to change the background color or text size, there's no background music, and there's no saving. Recommended on sale, because it ends quickly. There are now Steam cards.
A meh VN, with a boring story, used as an excuse for ecchi content, like all the other Sakura stories. The art is nice at least.
Incredible, a game inspired by Quebec and Innu folklore! Even if it's not my type of game at all, a mix of tower defense and real-time strategy, its scenario and Quebec dubbing won me over. Recommended.
Of all the Choice of Games interactive stories I've read, this is my favourite. There are a lot of choices, different "routes" and endings. Unlike other stories in this genre, our character can be only a man and has a definite personality, but it allows more "depth" to the story. Other Choice of Games have to deal with all genders (male, female, transgender) and sexual orientations (straight, gay, pan) for the reader, and very often create very "neutral" stories and therefore with very little depth.
